I know exactly what Cad is talking about. Whatever he does, puts him in the company of a lot of women, and the small talk that ensues allows him to get to know them. It's not a date, you are just out and about doing the same things.

I understand Khane you don't have kids, but this would be like getting to know the soccer moms on the weekend while you take your kid to soccer. Or how about work happy hours. Work peeps invite friends, and you get to know them in a social group setting. There are lots of opportunities to small talk and engage with other people of the opposite sex, and not have it be considered a date.

But apparently this is impossible, and could never happen?

Yes you can post from a phone, but it's a little confusing. Extra steps and such.

Step 1. Goto m.imgur.com
Step 2. Click on the little cloud icon with the up arrow in it. Top right of the page.
Step 3. Click on "Device" on the left. Then select "Documents".
Step 4. Find where on your phone the picture is. Select it and click "start upload".
Step 5. In the next page, click on the Link button and select BBCode. Then copy the text found in the window to the right.
Step 6. Go to rerolled.org, open this thread and paste the text you just copied. Then post it.

It's quite a few extra steps, but it works. For example, I'm about to post a picture of my nurse wife and my daughter.

She's had braces for the past 8 or 9 months. In Japan, tooth appearance isn't as important as in America. The guys actually say it's cute to have fucked up teeth. She's been self conscious ever since coming over almost 10 years ago.

No, it is far easier for girls to have multiple guys on a string (and they do). They rarely admit it. That is the key difference. There have even been several studies done about the "dating" culture and the lack of monogamous relationship in colleges. The conclusion? Girls like having multiple guys on tap for sex and won't commit. Guys would love to be in a relationship and have a reliable sex partner. Girls know they can get laid. Guys have to work for it. The conclusion ought to be obvious, considering we basically treat sex like a commodity, with girls as supply and guys as the demand and you acknowledge the obvious, yet somehow often ignored, idea that womenalsolike sex.

Caveat: Is mostly true in the US/Canada. Other countries (like France) are slightly different, but we have a pretty sick culture when it comes to sex, with really warped perceptions (on both sides).

Thank you for the comments. Yeah, I'm pretty lucky. I'm glad that my wife is one of those compassionate nurses, and not the cunts I've come in contact with as someone in the hospital from a nearly fatal motorcycle accident. She actually cares about her patients, and tries to talk to everyone as a person and not just a job. Sometimes she is unable to do it due to people that have schizophrenia or dementia, but she at least tries. Brain disorders really fuck a person up.

It does work but it isn't that simple. He makes it sound very simple to just fall in with someone you already know. At my age I don't meet lots of new single people often unless I'm actively trying (like going to bars). For instance I tried joining two different area hiking clubs. All old people or couples. There was like 2 single women and both of them weren't my type (fat).

It's not like I've got tunnel vision and am set on this one path. But dating for the most part involves sitting down having a drink and talking. It's just the way it is. I'm not gonna go on some excursion on a first date because then we're both stuck if we end up not hitting it off.

Joining a bunch of different clubs or intramural sports teams just for the sake of meeting someone is a long, tiresome process if it's not something I'm all that interested in doing solo.
