I asked her about that. Why I didn't notice a change in the bedroom. Her answer was simple; "because I like sex" or something to that effect.
And it wasn't callous or fucked up. It was a simple statement, and I can respect it in a weird way. We worked well in the bedroom - it was good.
I agree we are capable of overcoming our instincts and reprogramming our behavior. I've seen people do it. But, in each case, those people were aware of specifically which human instinct they were dealing with and how it was making them unhappy with their philosophy of life. There was a distinct conflict for them that had to be resolved. Most people who cheat just do it and don't really think about the consequences. Or feel bad for a while and it kind of fades away. Because they are not making a conscious choice. In those cases, which is the vast majority, you only need to know the biology to explain their behavior.
Which is sort of the great majesty of humanity in my opinion. We're mostly just animals running around with larger brains and more sophisticated technology (symbology, tools, etc.). Occasionally though, we rise above our biology and behave rationally. Looked at historically I believe this behavior is getting more common in the overall sense, even if it is still a tiny percent of overall human behavior. This is my personal source of hope for the future.

Shit like the red pill was born out of the bullshit that is modern feminism and the ancient unfair divorce laws that literally fuck dudes out of the lives they built for their families. IT gives us back the power. Laugh at it all you want, poke fun at it, but hopefully one day you wont get caught by your woman, off guard, telling you she is no longer in love with you, shes been fucking some dude from facebook for 6 mos, and old high school flame, and she will be taking all your shit, plus your kids, and there isn't a single fucking thing you can do about it. Your entire life shattered all in one fell swoop.

Happened to my dad twice actually. One day I was sitting eating breakfast with my "family", and two months later there was some dude named "Laurent" sitting in my dad's chair reading my dad's New York Times and casually chewing on toast like he had lived there for 30 years. Flash forward ten years and dad is remarried, and his 2nd wife ended up leaving him for some Danish Thor looking guy 12 years younger than her while he was working abroad in Spain. She used the money he was sending back to setup an apartment with the guy, then took my half brother/sister with her. Dad had to have someone take over his fledgling business in Spain so he could fly back to Canada and deal with a half empty abandoned house, the divorce, and getting custody of his kids. After having his life savings stripped away and spending the next few years in divorce court, he eventually settled down with some Philipino chick and they've been going strong for years, though they aren't married. She's just happy that he earns a living and puts food on the table, and unlike his previous wives, doesn't seem to think having to pick up his T-shirts off the floor makes him a shitty husband.

While I'm well aware I'm fulfilling my own prophecy here, I'm talking about the MRAs that use gender stereotypes as an excuse to call for a return to traditional (read: 19th century) Christian conservative values. Men are stereotyped as shallow, short-sighted sociopaths whoseonlymotivation for doing anything of value is getting laid, and women are stereotyped as idiotic hedonists in their early years and money-grubbing whores in their later years. You know, reasoning along the following lines:
1. If allowed to freely choose the number and type of their sexual partners, women will inevitably choose to spend their young, attractive years fucking (and getting pregnant by) only "alpha males," defined as physically attractive and fit men with aggressive/dominating personalities. Then, in their late 20s/early 30s, they will try to switch over to a "beta provider," defined basically as any guy who has money. Despite this dooming them to be virgins until their mid-20s, never getting to fuck women in their prime, getting stuck raising another man's kid, and suffer being cheated on whenever the alpha males look in their direction, the beta providers will still accept this because they're lonely and it's their only chance to have kids of their own.
2. This is a major problem for society, as the alpha males typically have roles that have marginal to no usefulness in society. The alpha males have no reason to do anything productive, because getting pussy is the only thing men care about and they're already getting it. Meanwhile, the beta providers, who have roles that are critical to society's functioning are getting totally ignored by the women while they're poor, out of shape, and studying to be doctors, lawyers, and engineers. The women's choices heavily disincentivize the men from pursuing these careers in an attempt to become alpha males themselves.
3. To solve this problem, we must limit the number of sexual partners women are allowed to have. Ideally, women would only be allowed to have one sexual partner, and that partner would be chosen by her parents. The parents have the benefit of more maturity and experience, and are not blinded by raging hormones. Thus, they will do a much better job of picking the best future provider from amongst their daughter's potential suitors than their daughter ever could.
4. If this is not feasible, we should instead attempt to return to early-mid 20th century values. Virginity should be sacred. Divorce and having children out of wedlock should be heavily stigmatized if not criminalized. Birth control should only be available if proof of marriage is provided. That way, young women would have to think twice before overlooking the awkward, balding future engineer in favor of the football player. Having sex with the alpha male and losing her sacred virginity would not only massively reduce her value to future beta providers, but if she's unlucky enough to get pregnant, she's stuck with that guy for life.
5. As a result of this, the most productive and valuable men get the most attractive women, and every man has the ability to have sex as soon as he becomes an adult. If we allow sexual freedom, only a small minority of men will ever get to have sex with the most desirable 18-25 year old women, creating unrest and breaking down society.

So if this alpha male shit is all instinct, doesn't that by definition make it mostly unfakeable? I could see faking it to get laid a few times, but for the rest of your married life? That shit sounds like it would be exhausting at the very least and would probably lead to your marriage not only failing but going down in flames when she realizes you really aren't who you represented yourself as at all. Besides there has to be levels to it anyway. I mean I'm not some shy timid fuck who will do anything it takes to get a shot at the pussy, but I'm also not some complete asshole either.
The thing about these shitty divorce tales is that these guys are usually 100% unprepared and it's generally because they are oblivious too multiple facets of life, including the fact that their spouse is out banging multiple dudes. Of course I can't say it with complete certainty, but I am fairly sure that I would be able to sense if my wife was up to something. How these guys don't is beyond me. My brother in law is one of these guys. He has a shitty job he is scared to leave because it's comfortable, he's pretty gullible as in he believes most people tell the truth to him regardless of how well he knows them and his attitude is generally that of "If I ignore it, it goes away." He of course was completely shocked when he found out his wife was banging one of his friends, though anyone on the outside looking in at this relationship could tell you that she was a complete shitbag and was destined to do this from day one. Of course the way he handled the numerous red flags was to ignore them because they would go away and this was also his tactic for the divorce of which he lost his house in, most of his monthly paycheck, and now only see his kids one night a week and every other weekend - unless she needs to go out and party and then he gets to keep them extra (but pays no less).
In all reality, I think if men pay more attention and are more prepared - in my opinion everyone who is married should have some degree of preparation for a divorce - they probably wouldn't be proper fucked by divorces near as much. I've told my wife this up front, but feels are for outside of the court room, in the court room it's all business. So if we ever get a divorce, I'll be lying through my fucking teeth and doing whatever it takes to get what I want.

If they are faking it and they marry a more alpha-type female, it's almost destined for failure. Those things she finds attractive have to be real and consistent, just in the same way we find the things about her attractive. Often they end up with doormat chicks and then think to themselves, "Fuck yeah...red pill works!"
Sure, it sucks when a guy loses his ass in divorce that seemingly comes out of nowhere(I agree with JTheRuler that this is often a symptom of the man not being prepared for realistic problems), but let's not pretend only guys get burned by women and not vice versa(especially the leaving for a younger partner that was mentioned). My main issue with TRP is the insinuation that everyone else is somehow blinded to reality and that our relationship(s) and happiness aren't genuine because we don't prescribe to that nonsense. Things like 'get in shape' and 'have a good job' are common fucking sense and I don't need a bunch of internet dorks to preach that kind of thing. The fact that they do need this "program" goes back to what I posted a few days ago about using TRP to supplement having a shit personality or simply no game to begin with.
They are the conspiracy theorists of the dating world. They know "the secret" and anyone else who doesn't is blind to the truth of the world. So, yeah...I'll continue to laugh at it.
