If she's not interested there's not much you can do about it. When you start trying to do more than that is when things start getting bad. She don't like acting, she prefers working on the production team. But yeah there actually is a bunch of films in the Pittsburgh area, really weird. For instance Foxcatcher the movie that just came out had a lot of filming done in Pittsburgh.
It is amazing how much this happens now. My sister-in-law seriously held something insane along the lines of five parties: engagement, bridal shower (wife's fam), bridal shower (husband's fam), wedding party party, and there was something else but I can't remember the name to it. It was embarrassing to watch, but even more perplexing when I saw people lining up for it. I just made sure it was understood by the missus that they get one thing, doesn't matter which party they get it at, but screw that noise if I'm buying someone 5 friggin' gifts for their wedding.
