We already lived together for 4-5 years when we got married. When we got married nothing at all changed in terms of our lifestyles with the exception that now it was legal and "official" and everything that comes with that (health insurance, etc). I knew what I was getting into and there were no surprises, plus living together for such a long time before getting married most of the weird shit was out of the way. I've come to expect her to fart in my presence and I've walked into the bathroom countless times to smells I can only imagine were made by a morbidly obese 45 year old man - it comes with the territory.

Whats up with men/women sharing bank accounts? Is this a new thing? Why in the fuck would I, somebody that makes roughly 40x what my girlfriend makes, ever get a joint account with someone?! Even if married? I make the money, I make the fucking rules. If a girl doesn't like that, kick rocks. She (and I) can spend whatever she earns. I'll buy the house in my name, the cars in my name, and everything "big", and she can use her little savings account for handbags and shoes or whatever. Its amazing how much poon-tang clouds the judgement of men - its never affected me like that, but I see it all the time. My business partner and his wife are going through a divorce, and I get the feeling he's about to get destroyed (he was banging hookers in Houston twice a month). She is an unemployed "housewife" who doesn't do anything around the house but watch Bravo and cut the landscaper/cleaning lady a check every week, and she's constantly having these lame wine tastings. The dumbass didn't even get a prenup because and I quote "her parents are rich man, if anyone should be pushing for a prenup its her!" Sad.

Nobody with the mindset of "share and share alike" ends up rich. Literally, nobody. They only share after they've made it, but to "make it" they had to be selfish pricks. Not too difficult a concept to grasp. It doesn't go over with most women though, to be fair.
