Thats one thing I always get pissed about, I'll tell her to tell me when she's 10 minutes from ready so I can get up. Never fails it's actually 30-35 minutes after that when she's actually ready and I sit there with my thumb up my ass when I could have been sleeping. I usually just go do some work. Boss asks me how I bill so many hours, I just go "wife takes a long time getting ready." He's like "say no more."

Its a think women like to do, for whatever reason. And its all subconscious psychological warfare. My wife is not a makeup or dress up person and it still takes her AT LEAST five times as long as me to get ready. Mind you I take long showers (fat guys have a lot of real estate to cover with the soap) and am still out in under ten. If its something I want to go to, she will dig her heals in and go even slower if I make even a slight show of being urgent to be on time. If its to visit her family or something Disney related, she is out of that fucking bathroom in record time.
My wife usually doesn't put on a bunch of makeup in general and rarely on the weekends but bragging your wife doesn't take very much time putting effort into her appearance? Sorry that super win is a super lose.
