I can personally vouch for the idea that (in general) people should hold off until 30+ to marry. I got married at 22 when I was an insecure and clingy little cunt. It ended about 4 years later and I started my current relationship with Mike the same year. While we haven't married, at 38 we're still going.

My uncle and his girlfriend have been together since I've been alive (probably longer) and never married. They maintain separate houses but now he that is in his 70's (she is in her mid 60's I think) he stays at her place more and more. He was divorced once that I know of, not sure about her. Every time I see them together they are so content.

Though actually, it's more like he'll die fucking young, hot chicks his whole life (because rich), but will resent them for being meaningless dick koozies and by association, resent himself. Or perhaps he'll learn to compromise a little.
