It will probably be a little uncomfortable for her the first time(s) around so go gently. Also she could be self conscious about her equipment post childbirth so be prepared to deal with that as well. My experience was when we got started again everything seemed back to normal to me...

Finally post childbirth and breastfeeding women tend to not get nearly as 'wet' down there, have a good supply of lube on hand.

I'm not sure what to believe here. Either you 2 are virgins, or there's some big differences amongst men in how jerking off affects them. It doesn't matter how many times I do it, if I'm horny, nothing but actual sex will sate me. Hell, jerking it seems to make me more horny most of the time.
