This, but I am not sure if he is fine. He is either proposing to Ren Faire woman or his ex wife is finally taking him to the cleaners. Either way, he does not like hearing the obvious, so no posting here.

So update of sorts... things have been going better I guess. Lady has been doing better working towards getting stuff done finding a better position (slowly) getting interviews, etc. TL;DR of it is we got a new dog which, yay another thing to take care of but he's OK. I briefly brought up an Oktoberfest party a friend was throwing back home and we ultimately both decided it was stupid to spend that much money right now on basically a long weekend partly because of schedule issues she has plus I don't 100% trust the dog with boarding/friend watching the house or anything quite yet. So I said... well what if I go alone? She was not too thrilled. Usually when I'm out of town on business on short notice it's just like 'well... have to meet a client now because dumb sales can't handle it on their own again... later!' and off I go, no grumble. I think she's jealous because she does want to go but I guess I'm kind of surprised she's so melancholy over the idea of me spending time with my friends and leaving her 'all alone'. Considering just booking the ticket and doing it anyway, even though I really don't want to spend all that time on a plane for 3 days either right now.

I mean if you go I'm sure she gets over it and it's not that big a deal in the scheme of things. But if she's not willing to say, "Bummer. Yeah. Go ahead and go. I'll hang out with the dog and masturbate on your bras" like a normal person then maybe you just skip it.
