Just caught up on the wormie saga. I feel like you're a little retarded, no offense. You put yourself in a situation where you spent a lot of time with someone you are sexually attracted to. Of course you developed a certain level of intimacy. Love has been experimentally induced with forced intimacy in like an hour.Log In - The New York Times

Read those questions and ask yourself: Have you and her opened up enough to each other to have shared stuff like that, even if it wasn't that stuff specifically? You created intimacy and connection. You could do this with your wife just as easily, by doing the same thing, spend time with her and force yourself to open up and have that connection. It really sounds like you never did that with her, you found a stable situation and went with it. Now you've done it accidentally with another girl and think it is about the girl, when really it is about you interacting with a girl differently because you are doing it from a place of confidence and probably passion, since you must have overlapping interests as a result of the same major.

Without even getting into whether I have "taken the role of moral authority" are you implying that reading about prostitution on the internet is immoral?
I do not think anything you've said in the past 2 pages is depraved or immoral. I'm simply saying there is a certain humor to be found in a man who has championed good christian values and the traditional American marriage in this thread stating he has paid for sex from a stripper and regularly browsed sex worker blogs for "the interesting info"

Weird. I don't get the "good Christian values" vibe from anyone in this thread.

If you wouldn't accept a BJ from a stripper at 21 you might as well start giving them to other men yourself, Christian or not.

I have no idea what the fuck you're talking about. The only thing I have said about you is that I think you are afraid of commitment. It is my opinion, but not exactly a moral judgment.

I've actually never been to a strip club. It always felt somewhat awkward to give money to a girl to shake her tits in my face. Not opposed to them or judge people who enjoy it just not my thing personally.

Nobody is surprised by that, Tenks. My best friend was a strip club DJ in our early 20s. I've been friends with far more strippers than I care to admit. They are all fucking insane, but a whole lot of fun when you're young.

I've dated (not seriously) strippers when I was younger but I met them at bars. They're just real people in the end.

I've been to a strip club less than 10 times in my life and always left feeling like a loser. You're basically paying women to pretend to like you. I've heard people say that those places exploit women, but I've always felt like it was the customers that are being exploited.

I have a couple friends who are strippers. One is pretty dramatic, always single, fucks a lot and parties and is fun to be around once in a blue moon.

The other is a single mom whos baby daddy killed himself and she took up the job to support herself and her son better. She was a stay at home mother who used to do real dance before she settled down. She's very level headed and she does pretty well for herself and she's open about what she does. She doesn't care what other people think of her, all she cares about is her and her son are taken care of. Her son is one of the more polite kids I've come across as well.

Its definitely the customers being exploited. But, it can be fun, you just have to go in knowing that you're throwing money down the drain to feel/look at titties. If you're ok with that, then you're ok with it, if not then not.

Yeah, it's mostdefinitelythe customers being exploited. I haven't been to one in years, but having a few drinks and looking at tits isn't a bad deal. Blowing hundreds of dollars for some fake attention and a dry hump is not a good investment, though.

Yeah when I go I walk in with $50- $75 and other than cover, refuse to spend outside of that. I'm there for a few hours with my out of town buddy, we have a good time catching up and having boobies in our faces and then we go.

We usually laugh at the guys who come in with huge stacks of cash and act like they are ballers.

That is pretty much how I've always felt about them which is why I've never even attempted to go. If my friends were really gung-ho about going I'd probably tag along but they have pretty much the same opinion that I do about them. Though I don't know if I agree the customers are being exploited. I don't think really any exploitation is going on. My cousin is married (or engaged? I can't keep up with that side of the family) to an ex-stripper (though I've heard she still works off/on) and she seems like a genuinely nice and caring person. I can't say I've had a ton of interaction with her, though. Oddly enough even though she seems really nice his sisters hate her simply because she used to strip.

-edit-

Also I find it awkward when my creepy uncle blatantly hits on her

People who go there with friends for a bachelor party or whatever aren't being exploited, but there are lots of lonely dudes that go to those places and get milked dry by those chicks. I even had a stripper tell me once during a lap dance that I should take her shopping the next day. I didn't go for it but I bet that it works on some dudes. I know that they're not all sharks but their job is really playing on guys emotions/boner stupidity to get money out of them. They aren't there for the $1 bills up on the stage.

It probably works on a ton of dudes. But it isn't exploitation. The strippers are just exchanging their time for goods. It is just another extension of the job. It isn't her fault a ton of males have the same irrational thought patterns of a teenage girl on her period when it comes to possibly getting their dick touched.

C'mon, the customers aren't being exploited. They're walking in there knowing full well what the proposition is, and they willing choose to participate knowing that. On the other hand, the exotic dancing industries in many large cities around the world are well connected with organized crime and human trafficking. I wouldn't say that all the women in the industry are being exploited. In fact I'd say most likely aren't. But there's a seedy underbelly to it that most people are unaware of that makes me feel vaguely uncomfortable sometimes.

Then she shakes her titties and those thoughts just fly away.

I guess exploited isn't the right word. I'm just simply saying that the customers are the "victims" in this case. Usually the victim of their own making.

It could be exploitation to some people I guess, but I don't see it. Even my socially awkward borderline autistic brother-in-law who let a woman dance for him for 30 minutes and was down a few hundred didn't feel exploited.

I never feel creepy in these places, it's only creepy if you let it be creepy. If you go in just to have a few drinks and watch naked women then it's great. I've only been to like 4 or 5 in my life and I'm 31, so obviously not a seasoned pro but you can definitely see the creepy dudes. For instance, there was a chick trying to get my brother to buy a dance and there was this creeper just staring straight at her ass. As soon as she walked away the guy pulled out a coupon and had those huge wide-eyed-im-on-crack eyeballs and shit.

I just enjoy giving money to a naked woman shaking her boobs, but that's as far as I go. I did get a few lap dances and they're good once in awhile, but they just leave you with a boner and smelling like cocoa butter.
