Not even sure yet. They've always been a bickering couple but the guy seems to be going through a really rough patch. He's not happy at work, at home, etc. Last month admitted he was self-medicating with prescription opiates or by making poppy tea (apparently this is a thing?).
It's just a really rapid shift. They've been a couple as long as anyone I know. Since our early 20s.

Sounds like the relationship and the guy were already in a shitty spot prior to the marriage and they probably tried to fix it by getting married

I think it had to do with a lot of us in his circle getting married. The expectation was there for a long time. He joked last year that he had go propose to his wife before I did mine or he'd be in all kinds of trouble.
He's been in counseling for the pills, and I don't think he's an addict. An abuser sure, but it's always been more of a "get fucked up and play xbox" thing for him. Any substance pretty much fit that category.
Personally I think it has more to do with being 33, having a terrible job that should have turned into a career years ago but didn't, and seeing everyone else start to make a genuine life for themselves while he's been stuck in neutral. He makes like $14/hr part time while his wife brings home all the money.

I got fucking bamboozled bros. It's been a while so I had forgotten that it's even a possibility. Guess it's a good thing to keep me honest. Hot and heavy all night and I got the "No I don't want to do this yet, we barely know each other, let's wait it'll make it better".

If she's a size queen that's fine at least she's up front with it. For whatever reason my wife and her friends talk about dick size more often than I'd expect and I don't think I've ever once heard one of them say a big dick didn't feel better. Only complaint I've heard is they can be too big and start assaulting the cervix but I think that is more of a take the good with the bad type deal.

She's not a size queen, she was shit testing me. The entirety of our interaction last night was an insincere game she was playing. "I'm a tiny person it was too big for me. Too big for my mouth, too big for my hands, and well...". She also said "Oh and he, oh wait, no I can't tell you that about him" I said Uh Ok and she said "Well let's just say his name was Aghorumu" or something like that. So he was black and she thought I would flip out over that fact, and she approached the entire situation in exactly that way.
I mean, I guess I don't have much of a leg to stand on here since I was only interested in fucking her anyway and wasn't exactly being forthcoming about my intentions. You get what you give right?
Or she's just a weirdo. I guess its been a while now since I've been out of dating but I don't think every interaction has to be a game with a motive.
