I haven't watched it, but this guy has a video that appears to cover a lot of things you would want to know:So where's the guide for new players to this game?
There are people who post their builds on there, but I don't know enough about Ghost Rider (or the game in general) to distinguish the good builds that have been vetted endgame from the builds that a 10 year old used to clear normal.Did you try the ghost rider forums on the official website? Sometimes good builds are posted in those forums.
Pretty much this. I've tried to make a go with my 60 GR like three times now, cause I really like the character and his visuals are great. Thing is to me GRs main attacks should be chain based, yet his best single target and AoE ability is that stupid looking whirling power. Apparantly his other builds are good as well, but I find the idea of him ramming his bike into the bad guys over and over pretty silly. The dev who designed him (MichaelMayhem) was I think the first player they hired off the forums, and he really did a good job on Human Torch and Loki, but GR isn't on their level. He's doing Dr. Strange too, hoping his kit is on par with Loki as I been looking forward to playing him. That looks boring as hell who wants to sit there doing around the world with a chain all day
Not sure it's so much size of the community, but more it's make up combined with in general how easy the game(genre really) is. At this point most people just want to throw on their Hand of Doom/Kurse Gem and go full out dps since there's not much incentive to do otherwise. Cosmics to a degree can benefit from actually having a balanced build, and I always build some defense/health on all my characters as it does make a difference. So after playing this game for a while and just blindly following builds as I learned more about the game I've started to actually stop to figure out my own gearing and build strategies. This has made me realize that the community for this game is actually really, really small and doesn't understand how simple the stat mechanics are.
