If the show has aired, and you haven't watched it yet, why are you in the thread and worried about spoilers? Dick move or not you're fucking dumb for thinking you won't see show spoilers in the thread of an aired show. You know perfectly well if you're on the west coast that other people might have seen it - coming here is just begging for it.

In the Marvel U, if you are born with powers you are not human...

So saying Skye has powers = she is inhuman.

Also no one said the Bill Paxton announcement was a spoiler, maybe you should learn to read. It was proof that there is discussion in this thread about events other then what is currently happening in the TV series.

saw the episode, i enjoyed the episode, the acting was pretty bad, but it made for an interesting story, especially since they didnt resolve how they planned on foiling this superstorm or why a village would die to protect skye. maybe she is an alien from space, or maybe she is "The One". now that i have realized this show is not a superhero program but warehouse 13 2.0 i can just turn off my head and enjoy whats going on. the real superhero show is on wednesday nights.

Hulk, Spiderman, and Captain america all got there powers due to an event, or an experiment.

They were born human, they are still Human.
X-men are mutants, they were born with the X gene, and are not human....

since they never stated what powers skye has, its kinda dumb to be making all these blanket statements about her, besides this show has clairvoyants in it. unless the villain got his powers through "an event" its pretty obvious marvel has no problem presenting humans born with abilities.

Dumbass, she was born with her powers. They said it in last nights show....

There is no such thing as Humans born with powers, they are either mutants ,or they are Marvels new thing inhumans.

Skye marks the first person in this cinematic universe born with her powers.

Back on the topic of this show, after watching Iron Man 3 a couple nights ago.

Tony has a cure for Extremis, why didn't Shield cure Mike Peterson ,and give him back a normal life with his son.

If it's a major event in a series, like revealing what Coulson is, and that Skye was born with her powers.
Have some fucking courtesy if your time zone is fucking way ahead, and spoiler that shit.

Especially with a TV show like Shield, that has many breaks.

Whole board shouldn't be locked out of a thread for Three hours because you want to be an asshole.

I've never agreed with or understood this distinction. A mutant is by definition a mutated human, they are still human. Is someone born with a genius IQ or green eyes not a human? If you believe in the theory of evolution we're all mutants. Does that mean humans don't exist?

Well the distinction in there universe is being born with the X gene.

A human has the possibility of having green eyes, or a genius IQ, but they can never have the X gene.
Spiderman can never be a mutant because he does not possess the X gene.

Magneto does not believe he is part of the human race. He considers them ants, and mutants are gods.

It's comic book logic don't try to think about it too hard..

dont listen to column, spiderman, hulk capn america and all the x men are humans with mutated genes. its like saying that anyone who does something unnatural is no longer a human, its also pretty homophobic.
