Yea I was thinking the same thing. With staff magic remnants going through him it's possible...I mean he was on the ground getting kicked/beaten by what..5 guys maybe 6? Then he bursts into Skye's hidey hole and they continue onto the room.that chick isnt dead neither are the 2 guards. Ward had too many opportunities to reveal himself during the episode to wait for this moment. plus the trailer for next week already spoiled it.im still curious though if Ward butchered those guys beating him on the ground with that little knife.
he is in hydra, doesnt mean he isnt a double agent infiltrating for info on themWell crap. Read this if you want to here it from Brett Dalton himself (Agent Ward). He is a HYDRA agent and Garrett IS the CLAIRVOYANT.
Lots of other SPOILERS so read at own risk:

I like that you put huge giant spoilers in the sentence right before you warned about SPOILERS. That's some veteran level fuckheadery right there=PWell crap. Read this if you want to here it from Brett Dalton himself (Agent Ward). He is a HYDRA agent and Garrett IS the CLAIRVOYANT.

i have no doubt he has inner conflicts, but im pretty sure Ward is worming his way into HYDRA to fuck shit up. if this show gets renewed, they can have infos on the remaining hydra from what Ward found out. so at worst, Ward pulls a darth Vader and turns from the dark side at the end. or best, Hand got ward to do this so he could find out how badly shield has been compromised and who all the secret hydra agents are. either way. Hand is not dead and when ward "turns" back to shield, everything will be hunky dory again. if garret is the clairvoyant, it really makes no goddamned sense unless he was using Zola and the algorithm to do his bidding.I think it is more likely that he actually is HYDRA and is just having a conflict of feelings than being an actual intentional double/triple agent. The fact that he spilled his feelings to Lorelai while he was under her influence kind of proves his core feelings may be truthful and they will probably play up the inner conflict (support HYDRA or "follow his heart" as sappy as that sounds).
well shit, the way hand set ward up to shoot garret was so odd, i thought it was a ploy of some kind and the stupid teaser made it even more doubtful that he was true hydra. i will hold out small hope because that interview sounded a bit misleading, clone or decoy perhaps? i still think we have not seen the last of victoria hand.Right. No plot is going to involve the willing death of a high ranking agent, especially since the "reward" isn't exactly a leader of Hydra.
Ward burned his bridges when he did that and there is pretty much 0 way he could go back to SHIELD/what is left of it. I think the "honorable sacrifice" to make amends is a solid theory.
It was kind of gradual improvement other than ep 17, which was great by any standard. Ep 12ish maybe ? I'd probably start from 10 though, everything from then on starts to tie together so some things won't make sense otherwise. When did this show get good ?
Serious question, I want to watch it, but I want to skip the bad "episodic" episodes. So please tell me when the good narative begins, at which episode ? Thank you.
