One comment on the cell thing: did you notice how the clothes were in the shot? They were folded neatly on the floor. I thought it was a nice subtle detail to manipulate them into thinking he really was gone.

The part I did not understand, and this is partly my ignorance about Creel, is how the fig did he catch up to the car?

i hope this means that those 8 weeks of agent carter will be an unbroken 8 weeks. i dont want some fuckover like they pulled this year. if agents of shield airs once a month and then they try to stick a few agent carters in between its going to make both shows a jumbled mess.

Last I heard, it'll be something like Agents of SHIELD will go on hiatus from January until March and Agent Carter will air during that time. That also means that Agents of SHIELD will only have that one long break rather than airing once or twice a month in the spring.

Well, the next Marvel movie doesn't come out until May 2015 (Age of Ultron). So they don't have to schedule around their movie universe for tie-ins (i.e. Thor 2 and Cap 2).

Do not forget.

Avengers 2 starts right where the credit scene in Captain America 2 left off with the twins in a Hydra base. So this whole season about Hydra is supposed to lead up to that point. Also if the spoilers I read are true at the end of Avenger 2 Stark meets with Fury and Coulson about funding a better SHIELD.

Checked s2 premiere to see how they went : cheesy plot, direct-to-video lines, story-convenient superheroes and bad acting (the english genuis hearing voices rofl). To me Agents Of SHIELD feels like a commercial, featured tv show supporting Marvel blockbusters during production. Am I being out of touch at this point ? I'm not an elitist (I enjoyed Fringe haha) but right now most characters are either annoying, having 3 layers agenda or just being super emotional.

I mean, you have that super deceptive treatcherous guy hanging in cell somewhere : bringing his love interest suddenly remind you about hidden channel frequencies in your top tier tech bunker ? As an European I was just waiting for some actor breaking the 4th wall selling perfume or smartphone. Transformers 4, while being awful, sold ads better.

What is a direct to video line? Or a story convenient superhero? There were zero superheroes in the premiere, much less convenient ones, unless you are referring to the Absorbing Man?
You probably aren't an elitist, but you are definitely out of touch. Who was super emotional? Surely not Skye, the chick who was seriously getting romantic with a turns-out-double-agent? That wouldn't make a girl emotional - nope - and speaking of him - super deceptive treachery? You can tell redemption is on the docket for him this season - all his actions even leading up to the finale were justifiable in his head - hell even cutting Fitz and Simmons out of the plane was a chance to live versus Garrett personally killing them. He wasn't just hanging out - you know - he was a prisoner after the finale... and where else are you gonna put him? He knew how Hydra communicated and it became relevant during the conversation - partly because he wanted to help but mainly because he wanted to keep human contact with his love interest for as long as possible.

In summary - you were expecting perfume or a smartphone, I recommend some fresh air.

Seriously, what other "comic" like tv show is out there that is good? AOS was dogshit after the pilot, the stupid centipied plot, the stupid black guy-turned deathlok, for 20 episodes it was really shitty repertoire of,

Find some weird shit that might have a 1% chance to tie into the overall plot, scientist duo, examines shit, agent jock runs around, stupid skyae being stupid, then
coulson says some semi-inspirational shit, scientist duo figures out some shit, agent may rappels down and saves the day.

Then i guess somehow, someone realized this shit, was shit. Took a break, hire Bill Paxton, some decent writers and Bam, the previous 6ish episodes leading up to the finale was a total re-do of the previous 20 episodes of shit.

The season opener seems to be continuing in this new direction, instead of the stupid Law and order superhero procedural shit we had the first 20 episodes after the Pilot.

i think what happened was the show was supposed to be this stand alone tv show with occasional tie-ins to marvel characters. then poor ratings reality set in because nobody wants to see that lame shit, even back in the 80s where this show should have been made, nobody wants to be cockteased. so instead of disney/marvel taking a black eye they just took the show over and changed it into an infomercial for marvel movie franchises with cameos by their movie characters. personally i rather see this infomercial format than that campy shit they were going for originally.
