also going by many of the vids i have seen of what is left of the nypd don't think most will be able to pull it off.

I've done a lot of jiu jitsu training. The concept is fine subject to the absolute stupidity of restrictions that prevent police from using the traditional positional controls of mount, side mount, and face down pins. The amount of training required to execute those safely is far lower than this stuff.

Rener is basically a used car salesman and chases any money he can get his hands on. He's got a terrible reputation in the community for his business practices.
