For that money you could buy a blowjob in the arena at a normal Vegas UFC and still have enough left over for airfare. Crazy prices, "trust me bro" card... can't imagine the issue.

The fighter's sell the UFC events. Not the seats, fireworks, in-arena videos, and pomp & circumstance.

They needed Conor on the card. They missed. As much as everyone loves O'Malley, he doesn't command $2,500 - $5,000 gate prices.

Huge over-reach by Dana and the UFC.

I'm very interested to see how the product looks on Saturday. They reportedly went very heavy on the promo packages for each fight and brought in some TV folks to polish it up. Seems a number of tix still haven't sold. I assume they'll bring people from the nosebleeds down to the lower levels if they don't end up selling the rest. I'm expecting cool but underwhelming like how they hyped Yas Island.
