Yeah I was noticing that as well. I sorta like this new style of picking the number of points you want to put on a fight. Definitely makes it a bit more interesting.
Will see how it plays out after a few events. Hopefully this one is just missing some fights because it isn't a very high profile card.

Yeah it's very much illegal. Opponent is on the ground and it's a kick to the head. Anderson Silva's last "loss" before coming to the UFC was due to the same thing getting him DQ'd against Yushin Okami.
I could see an argument that it shouldn't be illegal, but right now there's no question.

Well, I think I am ready to give up on that site already. First off they haven't even scored the fights yet. Second, it appears only Grimm and I are on there anyways.

No rush, we can stick with this a little bit as a test. Not like we gave a lot of warning and chances to join before the event. I spammed the Sherdog league a bunch of times to get people signed up.
As for the site, when I tried to go right to our pool(more of a hot tub really...) it hung up for ages, but when I went from the front page it moved fine. Weird.

once you roll it, it's incredibly easy to do again. anytime i plan on doing anything that's more than running in a straight line i tape my ankle. and even w/ tape, i've rolled it before. seriously, who puts the foam pit for the rock wall right next to the volleyball court!?!

What a bummer for him, but I can say I just don't care that much. I didn't particularly like watching Cruz fight really. Wonder if he will get healthy enough to fight again.
As for the picks yeah, I was torn on that as well. I sort of like the option of not picking a fight and putting more points into one that I am more sure of, but it really feels like gaming the system.
