Well look at the former WWF/WCW. WWF/WWE bought out a lot of regions. The last major two players were WWE/WCW and WWE bought them out also. Plenty of market power of wrestlers also, and you could say it was anti-trust. Hell add in the NFL. I just don't see the UFC losing.

They threw him a huge softball, Struve does not hit very hard and hs chin is easily as bad as Overeem, I feel bad that Struve had to come back to that after all his illnesses and shit.

2 10-8 rounds has gotta be pretty humiliating, although Diaz doesn't really seem to give a shit about his UFC career anymore. And it looks like his entire eyebrow is one big gash, does he have anything but scar tissue above his eye?
I don't get the 2 49-46 scores. Felt more like a 48-47 fight that could have gone either way.
The move of the night (maybe of the year) was at the end of the 3rd when Dos Anjos was all over him. Diaz said "COME ON, PUSSY!" and slapped the fuck out of him. Yeah, the Diaz brothers are retarded, but that's what makes them awesome. I always root against them, though.

Did any of you watch the main event tonight with the sound on? You would have thought Stipe won the first, second, fourth, and fifth rounds 10-8. And that the 3rd was a begrudging 10-9 for JDS. Joe and Goldie were absolutely gushing about every single thing Stipe did and flat out ignoring HUGE shots from JDS for the entire fight.
JDS landed 34 more significant strikes, and more every single round of the fight.
JDS did not have a great fight, but if you listened to the fight n radio you would have thought he got flat out dominated. Just because he bleeds and swells up at the drop of a hat doesn't mean shit, he landed the bigger, cleaner shots from the start. Shit was infuriating. Whenever he'd land a great clean punch I was yelling at my TV "SAY GOOD SHOT ASSHOLES!".
Fuck Nate. He got his ass whooped post to post because he's a cunt who has no idea how to gameplan. I hope his dog dies and all his milk goes sour.

The best part of that was Diaz losing the slap fight just as bad as he lost every other aspect of the fight. RDA postured upand double slapped the fuck out of that faggot.
BTW Palhares fought Fitch for the WSOF 170 belt tonight. Paul got a hold of his leg pretty early on, so you know how it ended.

I ended up falling asleep before the main event last night but from watching the highlights it looked like Stipe got the job done...JDS looked like shit afterwards. It's good to see someone who can actually challenge JDS besides Cain. Hopefully the heavyweight division starts to get a little better now. I think it's funny how the mma websites are calling for Overeem vs JDS now...we all know how that one will pan out.

Yeah Miocic got the job done so well that two judges scored the fight 49-46 against him. JDS did look very awkward in his disengages, but aside from that he outboxed Miocic the whole fight and that's all it really turned out to be, was a boxing match.
People calling for Losereem to fight JDS have got to be fucking retarded though. He's 3 for 6 in the UFC, and his wins are against Struve, Mir, and Lesnar.

JDS would probably knock him out in record time. Reem is just not on the level of the top 5 guys.

I am unsure if I am impressed by Miocic, or disappointed in JDS. The same dude who got KOd by Struve just lived through everything JDS could throw at him and managed to do absurdly well for the first 2 rounds. But that looked like a hollow shell of the JDS who was a terror to the HW division before Cain beat him like a rented mule for 10 rounds straight. Damn shame really. Browne vs JDS is a really interesting matchup at this point, and I see Mitrione fighting Overeem, and most likely winning.
JDS just ran into a guy who could box with him (not just throw haymakers like Nelson) and who could also throw in a poor man's version of Cain's dirty boxing. I don't see anything to really be disappointed with JDS over. He did win the fight.

Bit of both.
JDS had him rocked multiple times and never pounced, it was really frustrating. He was pretty stiff the whole fight, though he was never particularly fluid in his movements.
Also I was thinking during the fight that every time someone in MMA is called a good boxer what they really mean is they throw decent punch combos and maybe have a jab. Being a good boxer in MMA almost never means head movement or rolling with punches or anything being punching. Look at how insanely hyped the "boxing" of the Diaz brothers is, then look at how they just stand stiff and walk in to punches. That's not good boxing, it's good punching. Good boxing is Robbie Lawler when he's fresh and slipping punches and getting angles. It's not JDS using his face to keep the other guy's fists busy.
