Yes, his ground game is still a huge question mark. We saw what happened when a wrestler was able to get him down, and it wasn't pretty. All of the 4 guys you mentioned also had either really strong wrestling or BJJ, so they were far more rounded than Conor is. If he wants to be known as one of the greatest ever, he will have to improve his ground game or he will get exploited.

I remember his time. He is why I only tune in for "big" fights now. Sport has gone soft to get legal.

It's a dumb idea and is going to substantially diminish the quality of jiu jitsu in his tournament. None of the best competitors are going to sign up to get hit in the head.

There's already a sport where striking and grappling are combined. If you want to run an MMA tournament, just do that. I don't think this middle ground is interesting or entertaining.
