Sure I was disappointed in Holly yet again, but I think Cyborg had another gear she didn't even need because it was clear she was the stronger fighter. Cyborg will have to fight men's 125lbs soon to find opponents.

Announcing Conor and Khabib or Tony and Khabib or Tony and Conor could make me forget and forgive this card immediately !

I hope Stipe doesn't go into a coma on the 20th, I can barely understand what he rasps now...

Robbie Lawler Suffered Torn ACL and Meniscus in His Fight Against Rafael dos Anjos

“The guy’s leg was destroyed,” White said about Lawler. “Blew his ACL and meniscus and every other thing that’s in your knee out in like the third round. Wobbled over to the fence, laid against it, and asked dos Anjos to come in so they could just bang it out. Robbie Lawler went to the fifth round.”

Lawler still finished the fight and has never publicly revealed anything about the injury.

There’s no word yet on when Lawler will undergo surgery to repair the damage done to his knee, but a complete tear of the ACL will typically put a fighter out of action for the better part of a year.

Realistically that should wrap up his career. Then again fighters like Lawler are a different breed of human being, so who knows.

What I mean is that he stood in the pocket and tried to bang it out. Yeah it wasn't his full fury, but he didn't quit either after being basically immobilized.

I had dinner with Jimmy Smith a few years ago when we were guests at a wedding. While he may be a good MMA commentator, he is a *colossal* prick of a human being. He was abrasive and condescending to the entire table and borderline abusive to his girlfriend. It was the most obnoxious behavior I've ever seen from an allegedly mature adult, let alone someone whose career is based on their personality.

Maybe Joe Rogan can have an off-commentary fight. He can challenge Joe on belief that the moon landings are fake. I bet they are real, but Joe is too much of a pussy to back that up.
