Cutting weight literally takes years off your life if you do it wrong.

If ever there was a more meaningless interim belt. So the Champion gives up his, the interim champ becomes real champ, but then can't fight to defend his new real belt that he didn't beat the champ for, so another contender is elevated to compete for a new interim belt. What a garbage pile

At least with Bisping and GSP gone, MW can finally move along with the rankings. Though, Yoel fighting for the interim belt is kinda fucky. Give the fight to Weidman or Jacare, because Yoel already lost to Whittaker.

I think it's at least in part because Vitoris also a retiring legend who could easily win that fight and KO him. IMO, if Bisping was the real ubercompetitor he acts like.... that's the fight he should want above all others... Winnable, big name, chance to avenge a humiliating KO.
As for the card last night.. it was meh... Stephens is good, Choi is likely not a top 5 in his division, PVZ is a gatekeeper attention whore at best... nothing we were not aware of. I mean shit, when i looked for info after the fight i saw more articles about PVZ supposed crippling injury then the fight itself,

And yeah, Paige has decent standup and that is pretty well the extent of it. She will never be a great fighter, but she is obviously pretty damn tough. I can't imagine trying to fight with a broken arm
