FWIW my DDR4 is running at default speed, 2133 instead of 3200. I should mess w/ that again to get it stable at higher speed but haven't been bothered enough by any performance issues to deal w/ it.

Ugg. I have a 5800x and a 3080ti at the same res. This still looks unplayable for me with the current setup. Man I hope my new rig gets here before launch at least.

Frame gen might be worth using but it really depends on how much input lag it generates. I doubt I'd notice any artifacting unless its really bad but when I tried frame gen with Cyberpunk that little bit of latency was really distracting to me.

So I set my RAM back to 3200 to run some more, here's the average FPS:

Frame gen on
Default: 142 (+10)
RTX On: 135 (+14)

Frame gen off
Default: 85 (+20)
RTX On: 79 (+20)

I wasn't expecting as much as a 33% increase in the non-frame gen FPS average, lol.

Ah sweet! Can't wait to shoot home to benchmark. Beta tomorrow again, pumped to dig in and pretend I don't suck at Bow.

Yup all weekend starting tomorrow, another open beta next week too buddy! A pinnacle monster will also be in the two open betas to hunt as well as the practice area. I'm PUMPED

This was 1st run at 566.36 and not rebooting computer, having a ton of tabs open and Bluestacks running, etc.

You can apparently use some tool called DLSS Swapper to have the benchmark use DLSS4 vs. DLSS 3.7.

Also, the specs for PS5 Pro Enhanced version are pretty underwhelming, tbh. No mention of HFR either, which is odd. I had had high hopes that Capcom could pull of a Stellar Blade type improvement, but then again, MHW is much more intense.
