Well, I grew up poor and am definitely not anymore. I just cannot bring myself to spend more money on a goddamn graphics card than all of the games I'll play on it combined.

Yeah I grew up poor and there's a lot of things I won't buy. But since I'm at my desk 12+ hours a day, just about anything that fits on my desk is exempt from my thrift.
But seriously, that computer's time and passed.

Same settings but with a 4080 and I got 72 average. Something seems wonky if 4090 is only 10fps faster at 4k. Was RTX enabled?

Don't need to pre-order to get beta access. You can just download it and play.

Yeah, looking at a lot of other benchmarks online seems like CPU is utilized a ton here... really want to find a 9800x3d but can't find one anywhere.

I'm also rockin a 7700x currently which is why I found it odd. In the same boat of wanting a 9800x3d but fuck paying hundreds more to scalpers.

Yeah this beta doesn't run great, and textures don't look wonderful either. Praying for a release day miracle patch! Monsters and weapons/characters look fantastic but the camp textures and some of the geography is rough. GS remains the best/easiest weapon for me, liking LBG/HBG too. Had to stop after a few hours, don't want to spoil too many fights.

Yeah I was going to avoid beta but gave in this morning. Did the intro and the Alpha Dosha fight and think I'm going to back away until release. Cool intro though. Think I'll stick with LBG for release b/c I've never mained that.

I think i'm gonna have to figure out how to tweak my keybinds to make it not aids to get any decent time in this. All I did was the little intro fight so far, with dual blades. Holding rmb and then clicking middle mouse button to throw shit is terrible. Holding a side mouse button and then pressing shift etc to do certain attacks is also not great feeling but not quite as awkward. Maybe I just need to get the feel for the game back though, I dunno. Stopped playing Rise before the expansion came out so it's been a while.
Might try out some of the other weapons too and see if I like them. I liked the flying around and stuff with dual blades in Rise but it seems you can't do all that in this one so less intent on sticking with them.
