In game feels better performance wise than the benchmark at least for the areas we have unlocked but still can't hit consistent 120 cap without frame gen with 4090/7800x3d at max settings.
Didn't need to set up dlss 4 (3.5 is in game atm), but with frame gen and the settings I had in benchmark it was at my 120 cap pretty much the entire time with max settings and I didn't notice any artifacting or input lag. Think if they give it another once over and get the 3.5 dlss to 4 on release it should be much better for 4 & 5 series users.
Otherwise it's just play at stable 60 fps cap instead and not worry about frame gen etc. ;[

PS5 if you want access to dualsense features (adaptive triggers/haptic feedback) on supported games, but unless something has changed recently they only work while wired.
XBox if you don't care about that.
I use both, but prefer PS5 when at my PC and Xbox when I want to run wireless like via Steam Deck hooked to TV.

This is the newer version of the one I've been using for 3 years (v2) and it has been perfect. I don't care about wireless at all though. I do believe someone recommended another version in one of the Technology threads though.

Wired but has back paddles you can assign to make some button pressing easier. Can't remember who recommended this awhile back but i've been using it and its solid.

Ordered, thank you for the recommendation! Fingers crossed that one of those buttons on the back can be mapped to PTT in discord.

Not sure but that would be really cool. I know you can rebind multikey binds like R1+Y to them but not entirely sure how you'd map it to a keypress/discord function.

PC performance, based on this beta and the benchmark (which I think is a newer build) isn't good enough on my system to buy it. I'll grab it for the PS5 Pro and hope you can turn off Ray Tracing on Balanced mode, or that the upscaled 1080p for Performance looks good.
Did all the hunts except Arkvald today, and it was fun. Very very much want to drop hundreds of hours into this.

Yeah think bench is newer. Buddy pointed out that raytracing isnt in the beta but is included in the bench.

Restoring license for MHW Beta let me play on PS5 Pro this evening. I want to say that Resolution Mode felt smoother than with my PS5 during the first beta, while Performance mode still looked embarassingly bad and felt less than 60 at all times.
Does sprint speed feel a lot faster than in World to anyone else?
