This is running better than the last time, and that time was way way better than even the one before.
100% playable as before it was dubious. NPC response a lot lot better - again I say, if this is the mark of improvement of one version above the other - than what is to come will be even better and better

They're doing random stress tests every month or so. It's gonna softlaunch in early access in early 2026.
it was actually super playable in late '23? and then it regressed a fair amount through 24. Way more playable the last 2 tests than the lag fests before. They've kept adding content and you can see the world getting filled in every time. It's pretty rad.

That is how I felt, it was a bit “10fps animation” but other than that hail, con, talking was fine - then boom it was unplayable and they have been working it back and now- i think its better than before.

Clicky snare neck is the necro noob questline end, havent done the other classes hoping to finish the wizard or enchanter one next time they do a 3-4 day open play

What I like is that rather than aiming for looking exactly like old school EQ, it looks more like what we remember EQ to look like but with it's own style. It looks awesome and I can't wait!
