So we just saw this : and the excuse is : we actually and legally have bad eyes : we legally can't drive and haven't been able to for years. Nobody Cares about this but we wish we'd seen this before. We looked at the website. And Liked The Art: mostly. See #1

1 We would have suggested do not do trolls. Played one in woe and that got old being the ugliest horde in the room. The number whom actually: as opposed to say they might :that play trolls is so low you're wasting art design time. If This was mentioned: we didn't read 80 pages.

2 The order below is Wrong: we get they know Sex was before Race (Column 2) in Character Selection but it's 4 Navigation that's before 2 Sex, Race and Class. Your PhysEng determines what you can get away with , How you can design your World, what you can put in it.

I never played EQ back in the day, played vanilla WoW then Vanguard - so I don't have the nostalgia factor for EQ like most of you. Is it anything like Vanguard or is it entirely an early-EQ experience?

Nothing is like early EQ. Not even the TLP's, and I personally dont even think P99 and its inbred cousins are like the original EQ. But if you played Vanguard, then its probably more like that if you're looking for a straight comparison. But the last time I played, this wasnt as.. shitty as Vanguard. So its got that going for it. ... if we're only comparing it to those you listed, anyways.

From my understanding EQ was mostly camps with a little bit of dungeon crawling, but VG was mostly dungeon crawling with a little bit of camping. I guess my question is M&M going to be mostly camping named mobs in open dungeons?

M&M appears to be copying EQ as much as possible with updated graphics and some different Race/Class combos

I havent played M&M long enough to know, but since you didnt play EQ - I'll just add that you sit in a camp and pull to it in early / classic EverQuest, Lunis Lunis . Now if this isnt what Kithani Kithani means, then I have no idea.

You will have "Camp" based playing with anything that is non-instanced and the names/loot holders do re-spawn etc.
You will have "Dund Crawl" playing with anything that is instanced and things/named/loot do not re-spawn

Or you have the EQ2 midground and it still is...kinda...both?
