I watched the stream. In his deck she was a lot like Quirion. In the finals he outraced a reanimated Gristlebrand with Swiftspears, Delvers and Young Pyro. Maybe you aren't talking Legacy?

it's not very fun to play against i've had opponents get up in the middle of a game and just walk out of the store

but you have a million things going on, from the pilots side it's very intricate and full of decisions

if that's what you want out of a game it's a blast to play

Playing eggs was fun. I put it together after cifka won - but after two games I realized the crap needed to be banned for time and consideration of others. Not sure why it took wotc so long to come to the same conclusion.

Keep in mind that he also mentioned storm and burn as solo decks, but melira pod & deliver as decks when the people he's playing against aren't dicks.

This is the reason for the sellout and 700% increase in the price ofGlittering Wish. Play three Jeskai Ascendancy in main deck and one in side board and the 4 x Glittering Wish mean you are effectively running 7 Jeskai Ascendancy.

Couldn't you run a full 4 Jeskai in the deck as long as you still own a 5th? Or is Glittering Wish limited to sideboard for tournaments?

You are only allowed 4 copies of a card between the main deck and sideboard. Cards that tutor out of game are sideboard only in tournaments.

What he said. Wishboards are pretty common legacy tech in certain combo decks. Storm has made good use of Burning Wish for a lot of years.

I think I Ring of Maruf'd for an Icy Manipulator out of my binder in a multiplayer game back in the day. Lol, such a revolutionary concept that the phrase is actually in italics on the card.

Ring of Ma'Ruf was awesome, but so expensive. It was one of those cards that just did something entirely wacky and game breaking.

I miss when Icy Manipulator was a good card. I used to have an old art one back when it was actually worth a bunch of money. Then they go and print Rishadan Port and shit gets silly.

I thought that was a pretty obvious engine card when I saw the spoiler and went ahead and picked up 15 or so at 75 cents each. I kinda wish I had been a grown ass man and really taken a position on them but at the same time I sorta already have to be looking to unload them already. I could identify it as being a worthwhile card to pick up but I did not anticipate how quickly it was going to fuck up a format.
