I'd hold onto them until the pro tour at least. The ascendancy combo deck made 11th at Indy, and with Sam Black brewing with the card in modern.. he may stumbled upon a better tuned list for standard. If that's the case, combined with the power of it in modern, it could go much higher still.

The version I found online and was playing playing didn't have grapeshot - just glittering wished for Flesh/Bloodor attacks with mana dork.
Sylvan Caryatid can play around most creature removal. And while early versions don't run counter magic, throwing in some Pacts of Negation doesn't seem completely insane. I can't wait to see the pro's version of the deck.

The removal would stop the flesh//Blood and attacking issue I feel but you would need it your turn 1 or 2. Is it good and will a piece of it get banned because it is modern? Probably, but I feel it is more along the lines of a charbelcher type combo deck "all or nothing" instead of an OP combo deck like storm / hightide / whatever.
Edit: I get it now. I was totally thinking that they were only swinging with mana dorks and not the hexproof Caryatid. (insert palm slap)

I wish I had the ambition to type up my paper draft deck. It was a masterpiece. And by masterpiece, I mean fatties, durdly delve cards, counterspells and Abzan Guides.

In the last draft I played in I started out as W/R with Deflecting Palm and some Mantises before rare drafting (because I'm a filthy casual) an Icy Blast that would later become integral to the Sultai deck I ended up with. Good luck everyone figuring out those signals.
