Yup after seeing a few tap out due to mosquitos and more still seriously chewed up by them a mosquito net is not a terrible thing to chose if you can be pretty sure somebody has a fire starter and a knife.

Or she would have murdered them with a machete. I'm thinking more that than anything and when found by rescue claimed they were eaten by the piranha or some animal and she only survived due to her exceptional survival skills.
Also- have net, eaten by ants instead.
How about a jumbo bug spray as a item.

i thought covering yourself in mud was supposed to help with keeping bugs away? the mosquito net is cool, but you are still going to be eaten alive when you take it off to do other stuff. its why people wear clothes. know what would be an awesome one choice survival item? a beekeeper suit. you wear that you will be fine.

thats the joke. wearing protective clothing doesnt really work in a show like this .

the show is called naked & afraid and people are surprised that they are being bitten all over their body.

It's actually more surprising that some of these women have a hangup about being naked despite the fact the show is called Naked and Afraid.

From a spouse perspective, I would think the biggest problem isn't so much being naked but having to cuddle up with someone out of sheer necessity to keep warm at night (especially if they don't have a fire going). The best example was that chick who wanted to cuddle and the guy wouldn't because he was afraid his wife would leave him. Turned out his wife left him anyway once the show was over.

Do you watch this show? At least 50% of them try the mud thing at the beginning, then they get eaten alive anyway and then after a few days you don't see the mud on them anymore. It's probably better than nothing but it doesn't seem very effective.

not until last season have i started watching. i tried to catch up on repeats, but i always end up catching the same ones. if the mud helps even a little then its worth a try.

seems the best defense for bugs is to start a fire on day 1, then find a termite nest and burn that sucker all night long. Think at least 2 or 3 couples have done this, seemed pretty bite free.

these guys get stressed out and that chick wanted some D from ole tom. it would take no effort to jam in it her for a few minutes and relieve some tension. also a good way to shut her up and work with you more.

I'm still not sure. I've worked 2-3 days straight on jobs before, covered in construction shit, hot as hell, dehydrated and only a few sandwiches to eat which is ALL better than they have it naked out there and the last thing on my mind I am pretty sure was sticking my dick in anything. Imagine it is even worse for the women covered in mud and smelling like a person instead of whatever shit perfume they normally wear. I doubt they feel very sexy or turned on.

that chick still wanted him. some chicks are just nasty and will take any dick they can get their hands on. dudes are moreso with chicks. quite a few times these guys on the show have expressed interest in these girls. granted thats usually only at the beginning before they were put through the wringer, but sometimes these people have literally nothing to do for days but just sit around staring at each others naughty bits. something is liable to happen.

Yea that's the guy. I had read somewhere that the reason he was so paranoid about getting up close with Carrie was his marriage was already on pretty shaky ground (meaning the show didn't cause the divorce) and he was trying to do anything to not put it over the edge.
