I think where I disagree is where you say he's too slow/athletic, I think it's more of him just being lazy and needing to have a better motor. I guess that's where I haven't made my mind up with him yet. He moves so well with the ball in his hands and does some freakishly athletic shit. If we do keep him this season, I think everyone will be looking to see if he has improved at all in those areas, if not, I'd expect him be moved at deadline, b/c then I'm wrong and you're right, he can't overcome his physical limitations and it's best to move on if Joel is looking like a serious player.

P.S. I think the Sixers should take a hard look at Fournier in F/A

This offseason is going to be rough for a lot of teams because literally every team in the league is going to have cap space. Even a team like the Clippers who are in luxury tax hell right now are projected to have 10+ million to spend. Some teams will have 40 million, most hover around 20. The top free agents will be courted by dozens of teams and the end result is a guy like Fournier will get paid a lot. Any decent FA this year will. Sixers can offer a starting spot, but other teams will as well I would expect.

It's really going to be one of the weirdest FA periods the league has ever had. I would expect non playoff teams to have a hard time with all the competition.

That's fine with me too. I don't feel like we should be going crazy in FA anyway. We still don't know what we have with our team. No identity and it's very likely we build around Simmons regardless of who else is here. I'd actually be ok with another tank year heh.

If the Warriors don't figure out a way to wake up and get back to the way they were playing during the regular season, they are going to go down as one of the biggest disappointments in sports history.

They will be right there with the 2007 Patriots and 2001 Mariners.

Let's give it another game. People were counting out the thunder after game one against the spurs. Dubs bounced back from game one with a convincing game two. Still very impressive win from them.

Green is not suspended. and despite Kerr and Green's request, the flagrant was not rescinded, but instead upgrade to 2. Which... I think mean he has enough points that he get suspended a game if he gets another tech.

edit: and fined 25k

A guy makes a couple threes and suddenly the Raptors forget all about how they won game three and lead in game four... they managed to remember it just in time to close the game though. Funny conference finals so far!

Agreed. They did this because they desperately want GS to get to the finals because the Warriors are easy to like and a have national appeal right now. Also for the insane viewership the Bay area alone brings to the table.

I hope my boys put them in the 2 game hole tonight because I think beating the Spurs and Warriors this year will keep Durant and Westbrook in OKC even if they lose the finals. This is assuming that they don't drop it in 5 without ever being competitive.
