Re: respec cost, has anyone found an all in one attribute spread? Has anyone tried the "50 points in dex, rest in con and get all your primary from your gear" build that was floating around? Seems like it could be viable if you wanted to multi-spec. I wouldn't do it because you'll spend more in repair costs with all those extra sets of gear than if you just respeced, but hey.

One of the guys I group with some has that build and he claims its the best thing since sliced bread. 5% crit is a lot when you think about how lack luster most of the 300 stat investments are worthless as fuck. The 300 stat tiers scream loud and clear that they plan on increasing stat caps in my mind.

Im not PVP'ing anymore until they do some major bug fixing. Never was deep into PVP to begin with, so it doesnt change a lot for me. But all of these bugs are causing people to quit, and when enough quit another plate falls in how the game works. Owning a territory may or may not be profitable at full server population - so you end up with fringe territories going full on extreme tax, then the town board goes halfway blank. No one will process there, and no one will pay their house taxes. Just a downward spiral. Decrease taxes, decrease cost of projects? Sure, but players have been asking for that since launch anyways. Sounds familiar to Shadowlands where people were asking for changes since beta, but even a year later, the changes are still half ass and poorly thought out in that game.

I still think the game is worth the price of admission - but any major investments like no lifing Furnishing or something is a big pill to swallow. Especially when communication from AGS is lackluster at best, content teases/road map is missing entirely, and they cant even get a handle on bugs.


Also, as far as warping? Bots are able to do it in WOW to this day, and at one point WoW was pushing on that issue hard and still never found a way to fix it. So its very likely that it exists in some capacity, but I havent seen it and I have several Orichalcum routes that depend on time of day / day of the week. The only reason I cast doubt on it is because the bots have found the quickest way to make money and its just simply farming the 60 gold every 3 minutes on the noobie beach. Go to any beach that still takes new players - you'll see some random ass name like x298374 running around and you'll see them go to sleep in the same spot at the camp fire every time (deleting the character after gold transfer). Then another one will run up with x298375 and go to sleep in the same spot. They'll likely fix it by limiting any type of global chat, direct messages and trades in some capacity up to a certain level or time limit - but with the LAUNDRY LIST of known issues - good luck with any specific time frame on that.

The game is so buggy in some areas that people just claim RNG RNG over and over when something is clearly wrong. If you're mining Orichalcum, take your luck neck off and compare the numbers to your previous run WITH the neck. Theres a theory that the neck actually takes AWAY Luck percentage, but since people will still have "some" luck, then its clouded with all the retards spamming "Well I got four thousand Void Ore in 15 minutes with a neck, its just RNG!" Whatever you say gamer dude.

Saw some guy instantly poof after mining a node in front of me. This was in a cave and he didn’t even run in. I figured maybe he logged there but then he instantly disappeared after mining the node. Could there be any porting exploits ?
Alts / bots will save their food buff by only logging in to mine and then log back out. As long as you haven't been in combat for the last 2 minutes you won't remain in world when you logout.

Oh and one more thing I didnt think of for the warping theory. When Im busy with something else, Ill mine the same 6 Orichalcum nodes and never leave the area. What Im doing is just running the food, logging in at the large nodes max respawn time, mining that shit and then logging back off to main menu. I dont know if its a bug, or something that causes it - but sometimes when I log out - it wont give me the popup that my character will stay logged in for (insert seemingly random amount of time here). So that could have been one of those situations, if indeed my character was immediately logged out those times.

They could fix that behavior several ways, but simply changing mining food to be per use, rather than a predetermined amount of time - would be really helpful. Or simply, keep food the same but decrease the spawn time of Orichalcum or just put more nodes in the world. Why Orichalcum is hidden away and so much more rare than say Wirefiber doesnt make much sense when you have entire armor and weapon lines that barely use asmodeum. Versus anything plate that uses a ton of it, and barely any of the others.

Theres no mobs in one of the areas I sit, so I dont understand why I would get the timer from time to time.

I watched this happen in MB - they all get to 3, then log out in same spot and vanish. Always dumb fucking names like fsdfj89 and things like that.

I wish somebody would run the numbers on "Luck" gear. I am of the impression that it essentially does nothing for you and that you might be better off having a real stat or not paying the outrageous amount of gold for the "perfect roll" foraging gear or bags.

The numbers are known, it's just whether the neck is bugged or not. T5 orange mats have a -1800 modifier to acquire (skinning is only -1500 supposedly).

200 gathering skill is 2000 Luck
+4.0% Luck on gear is only +400 Luck
Food buffs go up to +2000 Luck
3x Housing trophies are 500/1000/1500 each (fishing is way different)

Food and trophies are weighted far too high, there's not much difference between 4.8% and 5.0% on gear, but perfect 600 gearscores with all bonuses is 12885 max Luck which is a 11,085 / 100,000 roll (~11%) after orange mat penalty. If you don't use food and trophies you're below 5%

Some of the design decisions in this game (not just bugs) are starting to make me just want to quit.

Was solo farming for watermark and a guild with a full group of 4 people is there. They tell me the drop rate sucks with 2 groups, so I tell them to invite me, "We can't, we're full, some of our people are semi-afk." They imply that they'll all report me for a 24 hour ban.

So because they coded this shit with the laziest any zerging implementation, I basically have to just leave because my other option is they just get their whole guild to report me and I'm banned.

This game, man.

Luck was proven to be working in some capacity

I saw that, the website giving what appears to be accurate luck numbers is really nice that was mentioned on there. Can have loading problems, but just refresh it.

Luck isnt really the question for the people doing orichalcum farming. It was if the neck was broken, or creating a negative effect. I havent had a void ore drop for me in over a week, I start mining without my neck on today out of a "fuck it" attitude, and guess what. One drops. I did my own test on Starmetal day before yesterday and you get a shit ton more gems without a neck on versus with a neck. At ~3000 starmetal I got maybe like 2-3 gems a mod with neck on. At ~3000 starmetal with neck off, I got twice that in mods, and 10 times that in gems.

If the neck perk isnt broken specifically, then it may be likely that certain tiers or certain types of necks are broken when slotted with that perk. The game has so many bugs that you have to take some kind of stock in the fact that these "theories" just dont crop up and gain traction w/o some kind semblance of truth. Also Xerge Xerge , hope you got your frame rate issue worked out.

They clearly don't know what they are doing with the "within x yards" stuff; they should really just remove it from all builds and make them either flat passive increases/buffs or stuff that procs with a x-second cooldown, not "as long as it's in range" shit that is broken all over the place.

I will continue to abuse the +30% runspeed on Bloodlust until it's fixed, however. Travel is aids in this game.

The only real upside is that they can probably easily track down transactions of massive size, and the sender, since everything is bound to the name of the player and thus the account. Stuff that was spent on mats/the tradeboard though... that shit is just in circulation now.

House is definitely burning down around me, but I play the game more as a single player game than an MMO. The market wont self correct from this shit till probably late into a tier 6 release "IF" they dont have another dupe/exploit during that tier. Thats a tall order considering there is so much shit wrong with the game in its current state, so adding another tier of content on top of that anytime soon is just a recipe for disaster. But I could also be a cheeky sarcastic bastard and just say that the billion different gold sinks in the game will eat through all of it anyways lul.
