"According to Fox Houston's Isiah Carey, the charges stem from allegations that Peterson "beat his young son." Child Protective Services confirmed to TMZ that it has a case involving Peterson and an 11-year-old boy."

OK that shouldn't make this week any worse for the NFL after all but it probably will anyway, given the mood. Hell my mom did as much to me when I was a kid.

I had to go break off a new switch as needed. And God forbid you bring back one too puny for the job. That would just double up the work for the proper switch to follow.

I remember having to pick my switch out from a china berry tree as a child and it had better been a good switch as well because if it broke while any of my uncles, aunts, grand parents or father beat me with it I would have to pick out a new one for them to beat me with. In those days you were allowed to hit a kid on the ass with a switch/paddle/belt.

They updated with some pictures, he's got a couple lashes but it doesn't really seem that awful to me. I remember my ass looking in a lot worse shape from a paddle/belt/whatever they could wrangle up at the time.
