That's another point to be made about the offense in preseason. Frank Gore has been the core of the offense year in and year out and he had what, 5 carries in the last 3 games? That's why you can't draw conclusions from preseason. It's just not a realistic scenario. The coaches aren't trying to win or even score points necessarily. You would like to see your team look good in preseason, but it's not really an indicator good or bad of how things are going to go in real games where there is time to get into a rhythm and an actual game plan and that sort of thing.

One of the Redskins fans made a similar argument about how Pierre Garcon wasn't used much in the preseason, and that meant we shouldn't worry about RG3. But there's a difference between "not used much" in preseason and "forgot basic football fundamentals" in preseason.

I'm convinced. His shittiness in most stats are completely wiped out because he's above average in yards per attempt. Watch out Manning, Kaep's coming for your records

Which of his passing stats are shitty? Stop being passive aggressive and dancing around the question. This should be easy for you since most of his stats are apparently terrible.

Yeah, that's it. This 3-13 powerhouse isn't taking the preseason seriously because when you're as good as the Redskins who the fuck needs to?

I've never actually heard a recognized or respected "football person" say that the preseason is worthless. Maybe too long, but it matters. If it was like our retarded fans say Griffin wouldn't be out there showing the world how awful he can be, he'd be on the bench with his knees far away from any falling bodies.

Hiyoo!

But seriously, I already told you what stats are shitty go back a few posts and stop shitting the place up. You're worse than Romo apologists
I dont think its possible to be worse than a Romo apologist.

That said, Kaep is a 20/10/3000 quarterback and I doubt that will change so unless their running and passing offense is firing on all cylinders (which doesnt look like it has in preseason) and defense is keeping them in the game - they will lose games, especially big ones. Kaep isnt someone who can take control of the game and pull it out by himself. He is distinctly mediocre.

But those 5 carries were terrible. Yeah, its an extremely small data sample but Gore is keeping his starting spot only on the legacy of his name not because of his performance. I think he is going to atrophy significantly this year like pretty much almost all running backs in their 10th season.

If Gore is truly done, I don't think the Niners coaching staff will have any issues sticking a fork in him. Hyde has looked really good so far and at some point Marcus Lattimore will be activated, although it doesn't look like it will be before the season starts.

From what I have seen, if the Niners run-game suffers it is probably going to be on their O-line. It has looked pretty terrible the entire pre-season, even their left side which you just took for granted as being great before the (pre)season started.

NFL suspends Meriweather two games | ProFootballTalk

anyone actually see the hit? Tried looking for a video a bit but didn't see anything
Here you go:

Honestly, looking at them again, I'd say the Pierce hit was more deserving of a suspension. Either way, RAY RICE 2 GAMES!
