Pretty crazy he had only been suspended 1 game up until this. Probably a year long suspension next time he does it though.

That's why I said in the first post that I'm pretty sure the suspension is less about him deserving it and more due to reputation.

I've been pretty surprised that the Redskins keep bringing him back. But I guess when your team is that crappy, you just make due with what you can.

He doesn't think he's doing anything wrong. Last year his reaction was that he'd start going low and "tear ACLs" and end careers. Now we've seen that sentiment before, but it was from players with some leg to stand on that maybe got a few unjust penalties and fines. This motherfucker has a highlight reel of blatantly illegal hits.

With that hit in particular it isn't so much about where he hit him as when he hit him. Defenseless receiver and all of that. At least that is how it seems to me.

That said, Kaep is a 20/10/3000 quarterback and I doubt that will change so unless their running and passing offense is firing on all cylinders (which doesnt look like it has in preseason) and defense is keeping them in the game - they will lose games, especially big ones. 4-2 in the playoffs, and his biggest highlights are from playoff games. Both of the losses came down to the last seconds of the game vs. the team that went on to win the Superbowl. He is also the only 49ers QB in history to win two road playoff games. What's Cutler's post season record?

Ass talk for the win. He has actually had 3 carries and one of them was for 9 yards. Once again, it means nothing. Gore may go downhill this year but people have said that the last two years and it's clear that they are going to cut down on his carries this year since they have a bunch of promising young backs behind him even without Hunter and Lattimore. Hyde has taken all of the first team carries in the preseason and he looks great.

Given how stacked that 49ers team was, there are 20 quarterbacks in the league that could have done the same. Before Smith lost his job to Kaep when he got concussed, he was on pace to hit record highs in just about every statistical category. You could have had a JUGS machine take the 49ers to the NFC championship game that year.
