Where did the Bears touch Urlacher? He's really lost it. I like that he gives an example of the Steelers keeping players around way longer than they should have, and now they suck.

He talks about loyalty like teams have been keeping players for so long, but even players who are regarded as all-time greatest at their position haven't been one team players. Joe Montana, Jerry Rice, Peyton Manning. Urlacher is out of touch.

What a stupid article. Guess we're gonna get to read the same thing about every semi high profile FA from the Seahawks and 49ers this offseason. They're not gonna pay a dude looking to cash in to backup Ahmad Brooks/Aldon Smith.

Florio has become the absolute worst football "journalist" in the last year. The crap he throws out while hiding behind anonymous sources is just amazing. It's like he tries to one-up himself every month with a new ridiculous article. The dude just lacks any integrity any more and his site has become the TMZ of football.

Yeah I just don't see that happening. The 49ers have much bigger areas of concern they will need to fill on defense, and there is no way they are going to pay Bennett just to keep him away from Seattle. It just doesn't make financial sense for them to pursue him at all.

Amazing how you can be one of 7 players in NFL history to have a 2000 yard season and follow it up with almost total invisibility. The rest of the list is basically a list of players people consider some of the best to ever play the game. I know why Tennessee paid him, but what a flop...and after a lengthy holdout iirc.
