To put it even more mildly, when comparing any two things, I definitely gravitate toward sample sizes of 6 and 3. It's just the scientific way to evaluate things by not cluttering up the data set.

Teddy B sucks. AP is finally old. Bradford definitely sucks. Dez in injury prone. Manning is for sure done. Hyde MVP. Dilfer has downs.

Fantastic job by the Eagles with 40 seconds left in the half to try and establish the run game with the not $40 million running back.
Didn't get to see the game. In all seriousness, What the fuck happened to murray? Was there a reason they didn't hand it to him more? Was it because they were so far behind and gave up on the run early, or what? When he did get the ball, why was he getting negative yardage? Defense was that good, or he was being stupid?

Falcons would smoke Dallas.
They'll get a chance in a couple weeks.

Maxwell is the one person I'm surprised you guys haven't brought up. He looked like our new Namadi

Murray is a power runner. A lot of the runs were out of the shotgun. There was also like a million fucking penalties that game. It was just sloppy all around.

I wouldn't make too much of it unless Chip is hell bent on putting Murray in the gun the rest of the way.

I'm pretty sure most people had questions about Maxwell outside of Seattle. Their front seven was beastly and that can cover up more than a few secondary shortcomings. I mean, FO had himgradedmediocre at best, worse than Cary Williams.

Am I missing something? He's ranked 15th as a #2 corner, 32nd in target%. Also, it looks like 45 corners were graded, not 32.

I think you read this article wrong. Or I'm retarded. I'm thinking both.

A little of both. They graded 32 #1s and 45 who qualified as a #2. Maxwell and Williams both fit in that latter category and in a better overall defense Maxwell did worse than Williams. That's my takeaway. They even call it out specifically:

I extended this list to the top 15 corners to note the interesting replacement going on in Seattle. The Seahawks swapped out the corner ranked 15th in adjusted success rate (Byron Maxwell) for the one ranked 13th (Cary Williams). With Maxwell receiving 3.5 times more guaranteed money, the Williams contract looks like the much smarter deal.
Of course, then they go on to demonstrate some of the flaws in cornerback metrics so take from that what you will.

To put it mildly, when it mattered most Romo went 24 yards, 16 yards, 13 yards, incomplete, 8 yards, 11 yard TD.

When Bradford had about the same amount of time to drive down, and only needing a field goal to win versus a TD, he went 2 yards, incomplete, interception.

Romo > Bradford.
More like incomplete, dropped pass (interception).

I mean I agree with you that romo is better than Bradford until proven otherwise, but don't try to lay that interception at his feet.

Gotta ride for yours! But you can sum up my posting in this thread with I think Murray is a better player than Dallas fans are willing to admit and that Dallas as a team is not as good as some of the posters here think. I'm not being a homer with those comments. I just think they are true lol
I'm not a Dallas fan, and I think you overestimate how good Murray is. He's good but not at all worth the price tag

Niners won but looked like dog crap against a team that's bottom 4 in the NFL. Gonna get blown out worse than poor N'orleanians during Katrina next week in Pitt. You can't really complain though about yay area sports. I expect them to lose by 10+ next week.

As a dallas fan, I was saying for years, even after last season, that murray is shit thats being propped up by our monster O-line and needs to go, and any random joe will be just as good for us. Nobody fucking believed me. I feel like fucking furstradomus now or some shit.

For years? Then you were wrong up until last year when most Dallas fans were saying the same thing.
