Bo broke my heart when he played for the Raiders. Broke it again when he got hurt. Fun athlete to watch.

I don't visit here much, but just wanted to go on record that the Giants have always been, and will always be my team. Every time the team does well, I've been accused of being a bandwagoner in these threads (on FOH and here also).
I only post and care about football when my team is doing well. How dare someone say I bandwagon!

It was back when it was hand timed still. He was still fast as shit and fun as hell to watch.
Just watching some of his runs, he runs away from a whole team even after trucking a couple of defenders. He was easily the fastest person on the field, whether that meant a legit sub 4.2 speed who knows. Most people can't even tell the difference in a 1/10th of a second.

Judge over turned Brady's* suspension. It's all over Twitter right now.

BREAKING: Tom Brady beats NFL in Deflategate court case. Judge nullifies league's 4-game suspension.
It's may not be over tho. NFL is rumored to appeal the decision, no official word yet.

Once again, the justice system favors the rich white man over everyone else. If it had been a black QB caught doing that, he'd still have the 10 game suspension.

With Brady's* suspension now eliminated, the DeflateGate saga, which dragged on for more than six months after the AFC Championship*, could possibly go away. The NFL has the option to appeal the judge's decision.
This is the latest on espn

Doesn't Goodell make more per year than Brady?

yep he does, pretty sure goodell makes like 14 million a year.

brady makes -just from his "day job" - ~9 million.

as for the person saying if it was a black QB, he'd be screwed, IF the case was handled in the exact same way...it would get the Exact same result.

I actually agree with the judge. The NFL does not superseed the US labor laws and Goodell was a joke of an arbitrator.

I mean the entire process is pretty stupid. Goodell rules -> you appeal -> Goodell rules again. It is the dumbest chain of command ever envisioned. How the NFLPA signed on for it I'll have no clue.

But all his money is still coming from the NFL. Not posing like a cock gobbler for some faggot fashion line.

Well the only reason people pay athletes money is because of what they do on the field so it goes hand in hand. The better they do the more money they get from advertisers etc.

The NFL is super profitable, and Goodell is at the top of the food chain. If the league does well he does well.

Also all his money doesn't come directly from the NFL, and its owners according to that article, it also comes from Network deals, advertisers etc.

That's not actually how the NFL lost this particular case tho.
I just read the ruling. It is exactly how he lost it.

Goodell, ruled that some testimony was out of bounds on the appeal, giving the appearance of unfairness. Second he based his decision on the word "knew", when the report said "generally aware", again an arbitrator is not supposed to introduce new evidence. Third he drew punishment from the steroid use section, which the judge said are not related.

In other words, Goodell needs to buy an outside arbitrator. I can see now more cases been taken to the court since its hard to be the arbitrator of your own punishment.

This is how they lost it

The NFL didn't properly inform Brady* of the punishment he faced, or even what he was accused of.
The NFL didn't let Brady's* camp question NFL executive and counsel Jeff Pash at his appeal.
The NFL didn't give Brady's* side the opportunity to examine the evidence against him.

Why Brady/NFLPA won: Brady* had no notice of his penalties, Pash didn't testify on June 23, NFL didn't share notes
