Cam walking out was immature but plenty of coaches have done that. Plenty of players too. Im glad he was frustrated that his TOs were a defining factor in the loss. The NFC is a lot more competitive than the AFC so it will be good to see how it plays out next year. Wouldn't mind seeing Arians make that next step.
The 84 Bears had 72 sacks on the season. The Panthers had 44 this year. You may not remember it but that Defense was more then just a scheme, unlike what Lenardo says, they were fucking amazing.

Losing the Super Bowl in humiliating fashion is very tough, especially when it was your fault and you are the face of the franchise. I don't really blame him too much but it was damaging for him because he needed to shake that perception of him that he is a sore loser and is a fairweather player and only shows energy when things are going smooth and the team is winning.
They should win their division next year as well and if they can get home field again they can easily make it to championship game.

Thought we were comparing them to Denver, Denver had 52 sacks this season (led the league). But they had 14 sacks in 3 playoff games (led the playoffs) against Roethlisberger, Brady, and Newton. Pretty impressive, especially in this day and age of the passing game.

So people pass more and the defense has sacks and that is surprising? That's like saying you are shocked there are very few droughts in Seattle. The 84 Bears had 10 sacks in two post season games and the 85 Bears had 16 in 3 post season games. The 85 Bears had 66 sacks on the season. So the 84-85 Bears eclipsed the Broncos defense two years in a row in a game where people passed less.
The mid-80's Bears pass rush was unreal and shits on the Broncos pass rush.

True. It's also a passing league now. The opponents of the 85 Bears had 522 Pass Attempts. The opponents of the 84 Bears had 435 passing attempts. The 15 Broncos opponents had 573 passing attempts. So the 84 Bears had 20 more sacks in 138 less attempts. You can't even compare them. The Broncos are no where near the pass rush the mid-80's Bears had.

I wouldn't really have expected teams to be ready to pay big for Brock, but maybe I'm wrong. I would think Denver will be able to get a contract hammered out, and it might be reasonable but I think he has the leverage to ensure it isn't super super team friendly shit like they did to Kaep.

those SAME guys TODAY (time travel scenario) vs a very good offensive line and a very good QB-patriots last year, green bay a few years ago, etc(teams with great offensive lines and a great QB that excell at quick passes). that defense would get shredded via the quick strike pass/slant since the league has learned how to deal with that style of defense.
on to next year... Vegas currently has the patriots and steelers as the favorite to represent the AFC for the next superbowl (both at 8-1 odds) followed by the bengals and broncos at 14-1.
