I still laugh that we picked up Armstead in the 3rd round as our LT and they just signed him to a 5 year deal because he came in late his first season to take over as our starter. I hope Andrus Peat turns out to be a solid starter also.Man, this was the worst draft I can remember too, at least for the top 1st round picks
Look at all the shit at the top of this draft....ugh fuck you Jarvis Jones. So glad we didnt pick up his 5th year option.

That's a strong dose of pessimism!Midget CB who can't play outside, yet another one trick pony straight line WR with route running and drop issues, depth lineman who may or may not ever pan out, sixth running back in camp who looks like a world beater when he has big gaping holes but also fumbles too much.
Meanwhile we can watch Jack and Spence turn into elite all pros somewhere else, but its ok because look at all the VALUE!
Convo has reason for optimism bro.Well better to be happily surprised than crushingly disappointed like Convo will be with the Eagles.
Weren't they undefeated when he was injured? Like 8-0 or something..Wentz made his offense better.
Sounds like someone I'd want to stake my future on!Yea he got hurt early on iirc, backup took over still went undefeated, then Wentz came back for the championship game.
You hit the nail on the head here for why I wouldn't want him. I'm not mortgaging my future on hoping that this guy can pick up playing at NFL speeds. QBs coming from Div1 to NFL already talk about how much different the speed of the game is I wouldn't throw my future away on some dude who is used to playing against sub-par athletes. There is never a guarantee a QB will work out but Wentz is far too boom or bust for my likes.Wentz looked good at the Senior bowl too.. He's looked good in everything he's been involved in. His question mark is game speed, Eagles think by having him sit out a year, they can catch him up and make his release faster, he has all the tools.
