Moral of the story is... don't get fired by the Cowboys. That's two players from last year who have gone off the deep end.

So first let me address my fellow board members by saying, We have no defense and our season shall reflect this complete and total lack of defense. We somehow even manage to turn Brees into shit when we literally have no defense because he's trying to do too much, he essentially becomes Tony Romo. This is pretty much my default position for the remainder of the season. I'm straight up embarrassed by my team. I love my Saints but I fucking hate our GM and anyone else involved with choosing how we select players via FA, draft, UFA wtf ever. They fucking suck and don't address our needs anymore than half ass. /rant off

Merrith, I 100% disagree with you on "receivers are going to get their catches". The only receivers who typically get their catches against almost any defense are typically the absolute best of the best, OBJ, Dez, Calvin Johnson. Outside of the elite tier of receivers, corners are expected to give up very few if any receptions. Even the best corners get beat in some games a la Green vs Revis recently but overall I think the definition of a corner winning the battle against a receiver is something closer to 1 or 2 catches for maybe 20 or 30 yards total, roughly...

Now I'm going to go mourn another wasted season with our HoF QB as the sun sets on our championship window completely.

Cathan, what I said was most receivers "of that level" would get their catches.

And we were talking about OBJ.

Who you just listed as one of the guys on that level of elite receiver who will get their catches against almost any defense.

So what you're saying is, you're dumb and you really agree with me that completely shutting down OBJ 1 on 1 for a full game isn't all that realistic.

Merrith, you called it a win for Norman that he held OBJ to those catches. It's not... My point was there are tons of receivers that get shut down every week. There are no double standards for "elite" receivers. Last week Dez got shut down. OBJ did not, thus Norman won against Dez but he did NOT win against OBJ.

Why are you trying to create double standards for some receivers.

Hey did yall know Calvin Johnson retired? Is that why he's not playing this year? Merrith the good news is you have Convo on your cock. Enjoy your new dick rider!

As for the mini melt down... I try to be an objective fan and the fact is, we have no defense. Should I be a clueless fan that tows the company line or should I walk in here, state there are deficiencies and not be a god damn moron about my team? I chose to state facts and accept that we suck at the moment, probably for the season but somewhere I'm holding out hope we'll at least improve over the season. Such drama queens here trying to make something out of nothing and hide their weakass arguments.

Bengals lines need to step up their game. Pass rush has been pretty weak and O-line hasn't been that great at creating running lanes (beyond a couple plays against Den) or protecting Dalton (12 fucking sacks already). Good thing is it's not getting to Dalton like it did in the past. He's been probably been the best, most consistent player on the team in the first three weeks except for Dre Kirkpatrick who's been lockdown on whoever he's been covering.

Glad that opening gauntlet of NYJ, Pitt, and Den is over. Next five games before the bye are MIA, @DAL, @NE, CLE, and WAS (in London). Bengals go 3-2 at worst in that stretch but I'm leaning more towards @NE being the only loss. Brady's first home game back? Think it's going to be a massacre.

Win, loss, loss, win, loss. And I'm being generous that you might not drop one to Miami.

I don't think the Bengals have ever had a three game losing streak in the Dalton era.

I did? Let's look...

It's funny, I'd call the match up with Norman yesterday even.

Now I know you're challenged, but that's not saying Norman won at all, I said it was even. I gave reasons why each guy can claim success in the game. OBJ got his yards, Norman took him out of the game for very long stretches, and prevented any game breaking play.

My point was there are tons of receivers that get shut down every week. There are no double standards for "elite" receivers.

Oh suddenly there's not? But didn't you...

Hey did yall know Calvin Johnson retired? Is that why he's not playing this year?

We all knew this, yes...why you listed him in a list of elite receivers as if he would get his catches every week same as the other "elite" WR's (although how you left off guys like AB, AJ Green, Julio Jones, in favor of Dez is pretty funny).

Maybe you do already know this too...although your post makes it seem like it's some new development this season, but Saints' D was terrible last year too. It's been terrible for awhile now. Brees getting left out to dry far too often.

I don't ride cocks. i do like to ride all over emo fans like yourself tho. Funny how you projected your meltdown ways on me recently to only have it come out by you soooo soon after.

Drop those scrubs and come to Wentzville, I'll take you to an Eagles game at Fargo Field.

Haha. I'm nothing like that chick.

Famm how does it feel to have a team that's 3-0 that nobody believes is a real 3-0 team!?

3-0 is 3-0. They'll likely have to play better to continue winning against better teams, but if they do no one will care how they got those first 3 wins.

People feel the same way about the Vikings, who are going to kick your ass. Common theme: defense.

Also, most Baltimore fans are just waiting for the other shoe to drop. I'm on record saying our O-line will get dominated and embarrassed by better competition. Who knows though, we have a soft schedule, but the second half of the season will be much tougher.
