This is what I was hoping for. He got the big seat at CBS though and I am sure is getting a big contract. Talking heads on the radio were saying its the only reason he was retiring.

Also Jones was never going to fuck over Romo. He loves him as I said and letting him keep the money just shows that.

Apparently he's been in talks with CBS since the day after the playoff loss and would only come out of retirement to play for Dallas in case of a Dak injury.

So now a little speculating, Jerry did the do right rule with Romo and cut him to let him keep the 5.1 million. Romo said he's done and would only return to save the day for the Cowboys. Romo has no nfl contract, could sign for the minimum as part of the do right rule. Jerry gets his back up for essentially free, Romo gets to keep 5.1 million and whatever CBS is paying him.

Everyone on the planet knew he was getting cut except for me, Ambiturners own words. Thanks for pointing out I was the only who knew he wasn't getting cut man, appreciate it.

Oh I forgot the laughable suggestion that Romo will retire and replace Lynch at Fox, hope they pay more than 5 million because that's what he will owe Jerry if he retires.

Found it, I've said it for a while. Cutting Romo without trying to get compensation would be stupid. Everyone pointed and laughed as surely that's what was going to happen, every new date or imaginary deadline came and went and Romo wasn't cut.

I was wrong in regards to Romo retiring and going into broadcasting, but Jerry did the do right rule and let him keep the money he could have forced him to pay back.

My penis is big because of genetics, nothing else. We all speculate in this thread, it's what we do. I thought Romo would get traded and wouldn't retire and go into broadcasting this year, I was wrong. Dallas cutting Romo and not trying to get compensation like nearly everyone claimed with each new self imposed imaginary deadline passing and him not getting cut, I was right.

I have no problem admitting when I am wrong, my being right in one regard and wrong in another means fuck all ultimately but trying to pretend like I was wrong about Romo being cut I'm going to call bullshit on, he retired.
