This is the best thread. Thanks for the entertaining read guys. I was pulling for Tampa Bay, not because I dislike Mahomes but because he's the Anointed One and holy moly the NFL as an organization sucks. I haven't watched a game all year but gave in and watched this one. It felt like everything lines up for TB but you never know if that's excuses or contributing factors or just where the teams are (refs, o-line, turf toe, Dylan Reid) . Suh is a monster, though; I wish his attitude lined up with his on the field abilities.

People said the same thing about Russell Wilson, he's the next goat, the Seahawks are a dynasty and well 1 goal line interception later and no one says that shit anymore. No one doubts Mahomes talent but let the dude have a career and not just 3 great years before we anoint him better than Brady.

Difference is Wilson got carried quite a bit by his D and running game in his early years. He didn't throw 50 TD's and win MVP his first year starting. He's also never been to 3 straight Conference Championship games. Before tonight, he was 6-1 in the playoffs, with the only loss an OT shootout to Brady in which he never got the ball in OT.
After tonight is another story, but not taking away anything from Tampa (or their D), cause they played great, this clearly wasn't the Chiefs best game. Whether or not their best game would have been able to get it done against Tampa's D playing as well as they did is a question I would have loved to have gotten to see.
