Ok I dont actually mind the Blackhawks but this statement is beyond retarded. We are 15 ish games into the season and you already say the team is better then the 83-84 Oilers. Has Chicago already won the Stanley Cup? Did Toews break 200 points? Has Kane gone on a 50+ game point streak? Did they finish the regular season already 1st in the NHL? Have 5 players finished with more then a point per game total?
I see your outrage is motivated by your geographical location rather than an objective look at the facts.Location

The nhl threads have been relatively troll free. Barron Von Rudd was the biggest Jimmy Rustler previously. (He gets props for shit talking Max Patch on twitter in my book)How do people in the Sports forum still respond earnestly to Araysar's shitstirring?

.With a busy Chicago Bulls home schedule in January and a two-week run of the Disney on-ice spectacular, theBlackhawks have dealt with a schedule that saw them play 10 of their first 12 games on the road. Based on how the team is playing, it would be hard to notice that disadvantage.
With a 13-0-3 record, the Blackhawks are now within reach of the best start in League history. As if the road-heavy start wasn't bad enough, nine of the 12 teams they've played had a .500 record or better coming into Tuesday. Seven of those opposing teams qualified for the playoffs last season.
The last team to enjoy this kind of blistering start was the Anaheim Ducks in 2006-07, who made history when they started 12-0-4. That team won the Pacific Division before going on to win the franchise's only Stanley Cup championship.
Those Ducks benefited from a scheduled that was much friendlier than what Chicago has seen. The only other team in recent memory to go undefeated in regulation in their first 15 games was the 1984-85 Edmonton Oilers, who went 12-0-3 before also winning the Stanley Cup.
.While Buffalo and Anaheim paced one another in 2006, Chicago has been unmatched so far. Their plus-21 goal differential is easily the League's best, more than doubling the total for 12 of the 16 NHL teams posting a positive goal differential. Their attack has also been impressively balanced, with 12 players having registered at least six points through 16 games. No other NHL team has more than 11.
