From 2008-2013 the Canucks have been 1st place in the NW. Winning the presidents trophy twice. He is considered mentally weak for a reason. When other goal tenders stand on their head, Luongo falls on his.

He is universally ripped for not being clutch. You telling me the hockey world is wrong? What good is a goal tender who gets emo in the playoffs. I agree with you about the sisters, fucking pathetic in the playoffs.

Hey we could still blow it, as I said we're 2-4 in series we've lead 2-0 since '87 (around then). Although I think we've proven we can be a better team than just "the best of the shitty Southeast". Tomorrow night's game will be huge. Our team isn't generally known for handling adversity all that well, and heading home tied up 2-2 could start a collapse. I have faith though.

Just as a little counterpoint to this: Fleury had and again has the same rap. After choking in the juniors every syrup sucking canucklehead would go on and on about how he was a choke artist. When he got to the '08 finals and they lost in 6 these same moosefucking snowfrogs patted themselves on the back for being such brilliant analysts. Then he won the Stanley Cup in '09 and played great and they looked like a bunch of assholes. Then he sucked a mountain of dicks last year and they all pretended '09 never happened.

You just can't completely write off these super talented guys permanently. Every single one of them is capable of stealing a series/Cup. Doesn't mean they ever WILL, but it's not impossible.

The funny thing is that fleury was statistically much better in 2008. Overall he also had a better finals in 08 its just the last two games in 09 changed his reputation.

I don't see how anyone can reasonably hang the 2011 finals on loungo. For fucks sake the team posted 8 goals in seven games. That it went to seven is a god damn miracle.

Only way it would be better is if they take the next two somehow from the Pens and have a chance to pull off the upset when you're there.

Im suprisingly indifferent on this series. Just looking foward to seeing a good playoff hockey game and these teams have been delivering.

Under the circumstances you described? Yea, might be cool seeing everyone go apeshit over the upset. However if the rags go down another game or worse, I can see myself getting spiteful and rooting for the pens.
