That's really an agressive "retool" on the fly. Then again, Nashville played Van hard in the playoffs, this might be able to push them deeper next year.

What pisses me off - guy gets his huge bag of money, fires his staff with one month notice and one month's severance. Even though hockey players get paid a lot of money, I watched recently where the Coyotes flew into Utah for the first time and literally thousands of people came out to welcome them. I got the sense the players were extremely moved and happy to be in a place where the owner and fans actually care.

Cant blame the Arizona fans for the team being forced to move because of shitty owners. They had a die hard loyal fan base, that wasnt the issue.

I just don't understand this hire. Sure, they've got the Draesatil/McDavid/Bouchard contracts coming up - but this roster is basically championship caliber.
Why bring in Bowman for the unneeded potential drama? It wasn't as if his track record was any good in Chicago.

Yeah and after seeing that perspective it would have been a complete dick move for McDavid to leave that room for that award.
