Haven't had any issue using it portable with the joycons attached, but yeah fuck using them singly for any length of time.

You can kind of use one in each hand like the old Wiimote+Nunchuk if you want to relax on the couch.

This is how I play mine. I don't use the grip thing.

Might try a pro controller when Hori releases their wired $29.99 one.

Was just looking on Amazon for something else and saw re-releasing Radiant Historian with some new art and a third timeline...for 3ds.

I concur. I don't have an issue using the Switch with the joy con controllers attached, but fuck trying to use those tiny things separately. I finally broke down and bought a pro controller. Glad I did. Thing is awesome, but now all my friends want to play Mario Kart, and they want me to buy more pro controllers so they can use them, or the steering wheels. Shit's getting expensive...

Wired but hell, it's less than half the price.

I would definitely consider a switch if they released a Super Mario Galaxy Switch game. The 2 for the Wii were my favorite games of that console.

Considering trading my XB1 in for a switch with all these announced games. I see no reason to have an XB1 over a PS4/Switch/PC at this point.

God damn Gamestop is a rip off, I haven't looked at their trade-in values or been to a store in a decade or more and it's just pathetic.

Doesn't Amazon or Best Buy do trade ins?

Lol Original Xbox One 500 Gb trade in value is $75. Ouch. (Best Buy)

I may as well take it apart and throw various parts of it in the freezer to see how long it lasts for that price.

Yeah I was looking at grabbing a 65" OLED LG soon. And upgrading the Xbox One to the Xbox One S purely, and only, for the 4k player. :( Why PS4 Pro doesn't have a 4k player baffles me. I would never even have an Xbox at this point and would be able to trade in both my Xbox One and PS4 vanilla for the Pro and be done with it all.

just wait until xbox one X releases, microsoft in the past has offered up bribes via gamestop/best buy to trade up. i traded in my sunset overdrive xbox one and got $200 for an xbox one S when it came out and $200 on my ps4 towards a ps4 pro. since you can't buy the X right now, there aren't going to be many incentives.

that said gamestop is running a promo now where they will bump any tablet electronics by $50 if you buy an xbox one S. Some guy traded in four cheapo amazon fires, got $55 for each and pretty much that paid for the one S by itself

Mario Odyssey looked incredible when they played it on Treehouse stream. This game might beat out BoTW for Game of the Year.
