Also, I didn't have time to watch the whole thing -- was there any talk at all about how Switch BC will work? I saw that BotW and TotK are getting full Switch 2 updates but I only care about stuff like the Legend of Heroes franchise, Astral Chain, etc. that may or may not receive an actual patch. I know it can't magically make games that were capped at 30 fps run at 60 fps, but still hoping that it will at least boost a game like, say, Bayonetta 3 that was designed to run at 60 but never even got close to that in reality.
If all the thing is going to do for Switch games is make them load faster it's harder to justify on day one. Especially since they shut down my local Gamestop which makes pre-ordering and then trading in the OLED Switch much more of a pain in the ass. Nintendo and Amazon have been at war for a long time now, so there's not even a guarantee right now that we'll be able to buy a Switch 2 from the most convenient place to get a pre-order. Amazon hasn't sold a new release Nintendo game in over a year now, and if you look at all the Switch console listings there you'll see that they are exclusively third party sellers.
