Someone came up with a screnario a few pages back. Basically, if you've been told for decades that your glorious leader has been protecting you with his mind from evil foreigners that want to kill you, and then one day the evil foreigners kill him, would you surrender?

Not asking them to surrender, but if they don't know who did it it would be interesting to see the reaction. They would probably just blame the US or SK but I don't know if whoever was in charge after Kim was dead would want to lead the army into certain defeat.

It's a good question but one I hope is never answered. Assassinating world leaders is not the right choice to make here. If a real war was started then yeah, it's time to take out high-profile targets, but doing so before hand is not only bad form but could potentially start a nuclear war. Imagine if a few layers of hierarchy were assassinated and you're now the 2 star general who is next on the list and you have the nuclear weapon capability, how much more likely are you to go out with a bang rather than surrender?

A nuke for a nuke? What is this, 1962? Against a country like NK, nukes are not only unnecessary, but probably also less effective. Killing hundreds of thousands of innocents to take out targets that could all be taken out in hours with conventional technology is just nonsense and dumb. Were you in a coma in 2003 when we invaded Iraq? We completely disabled their ability to fight back in any way within a matter of days, with the majority being done in a matter of hours.

I remember reading people thinking that HAARP elf waves can knock out ICBM's in the ionosphere even on their way down which is when they are supposed to be impossible to deal with (speed wise)
I think I remember the x-37b was in flight during one of the NK missle tests that went bad suddenly, people where guessing if the plane actually shot it down.
