Well I do too, but I still don't think anything happens. It'll just be more threats all the way up to "NK IS ABOUT TO PUSH THE BUTTON!!!"

Then nothing for a few weeks and rinse and repeat.

Also I kinda wonder if the Military has already taken over NK totally and they are just keeping the Jr. Kim in the media to make it seem to the people that he's still in charge?

Israel had nuclear capability by 1967's Six Day War. It was very rudimentary but they had several deliverable weapons. They agreed to shut up about them and never test them in exchange for American promise not to make them sign the NPT and for aid. Then they did it in secret anyways 10 years later in South Indian Ocean.

I can't possibly see North Korea initialising conflict and firing any missiles at the US. They launch a rocket at US and that shit is going to get intercepted so fast that the people who fired won't even have time to get back into their trucks before the retaliation strikes comes and turns them into dust. What benefit for NK could possibly come from that? If you are going to perform the first strike, you better make sure that it hits hard and fast and that it will decimate what it is planned to destroy otherwise NK are going to be in a world of shit.

Unless of cause they fire a nuke but nothing suggests that they are capable of that yet so far. Even if they did, they fire a nuke and the whole world will be fucking them up. Not even China can shield them if that happens.

The furthest it can go I can see is skirmishes with South Korea and that is it. There would be potential for a full blown war with SK with China backing them up but would China want to go into conflict with other countries in the world over North Korea? Not likely.

Just can't see anything major coming out of this...(famous last words)

I'm just spitballing here but let's say the leader is dead or not in power and the military has been fed so much bullshit that they think they actually are superior to everyone else and that's the case?

Fed bullshit by whom? I really doubt the heads of the military aren't aware of their military inferiority.

And I'm pretty much with Neki. At this point we're in a cold war where one side has no way to assure destruction of the other.

I'm not sure how things work over there or how well informed they are. It was just an idea or a possible scenario, who knows wtf is actually going on.

I haven't kept up on the latest with the missile shield. Last I remembered about it, the missile shield had failed to intercept it's target during testing.

Yea, it doesn't work. It'sTHAAD, and they've only been testing it on short-medium range missiles. The NKs can allegedly hit us nowadays, and they've never even tested it on something like that.
