Holy fuck is this the true size? Not sure I can get this in my case because of the length. Would be bumping up against my radiator/fans.

This makes me want to build a caseless PC, fucker is probably going to be bigger than my next motherboard

Hope the price rumors are true so I can try to squeeze in an EVGA step-up to a 3060 if they release soon enough. Just got a 2060S. If not, it's still more than I need, but would be nice.

While i doubt the prices are accurate, if so i could grab a 3090 and 3070 - I feel they will do a ti/super variant of them all next year anyways

So they are saying that photo is a finished card

and supposedly ...

RTX 3060 - $400
RTX 3070 - $600
RTX 3080 - $800
RTC 3090 - $1400

The sad reality is that it will probably be more than that too, that's likely just the suggested MSRP

Yeah, expect the usual 20-50% markup for aftermarket releases. Look forward to the 3090 EVGA AIO Hybrid, 4 slot, 24-pin, with a 280mm radiator attached. $2199 MSRP (limited supply), scalped on Ebay for $3000.

Yes I want a 24 pin 12v video card that takes an entire second power supply.

I'm at the point where I'm probably just waiting for 3080ti or super or whatever in a year unless the 3090 is just completely mind shatteringly good.

I really don't get the outrage about the 3090, it's basically a Titan. And how many of you (or the rest of the internet) actually had one?

Prices for the xx70/80 cards are far more concerning. The 970 launched in 2014 for 329$ and if the rumors are true, the 3070 will be pretty much double the price.

Yeah I don’t care about the 90, but the price for the 70 seems high. I was expecting <$500. If it’s $600 + gouging I’ll just buy a 2070 I guess. I built a new PC that could handle the new cards but guess I can just upgrade it to the 3080 in five years or something instead of my original plan.

I will snag whatever is under $1000 bucks. Or close to it.

Not sure I'll bite on this generation. It all seems a bit much with the power requirements, cooling requirements, size and cost. Will have to see what the reviewers say.

Wanted to build a new machine in the next 6 months or so but still not liking the cpu/gpu choices. Especially considering I can run most games pretty well with what have.

Eventually want to get a 3 screen setup for the new Microsoft Flight Sim that can run it with max settings, but I don't want a jet engine sound coming from my pc fans.

Why not? You can save money on speakers.

Why not go 49" ultrawide?

Also why not wait and see what AMD offers. Along with seeing if the silly power requirements are across all cards.

I have 3 good monitors already but the 49" is tempting. And AMD is definitely worth looking into, which is just another reason to potentially skip these behemoths.
